This is NOT suitable for large motorhomes (unless it's been very dry for a very long time). No heating in toilet/shower block and freezing tiles. Horrible. Luckily the site was practically empty when we were there, with more people, the 2 showers would be totally inadequate. No shop, even though there is a tack shop. Signage for campers awful. People camping come a very poor second to the equestrian centre. Despite booking 2 months in advance and giving all the dimensions of the motorhome, we had really not been catered for. I know that the weather can't be helped. The weeks of rain had turned the site into a mudbath and there are no backup hardstanding pitches. We got stuck in mud on the only tiny path/road through the site, with no way to turn round. The people were nice enough and a friendly chap towed us out, but the tiny bit of hardstanding next to the toilet block was totally insufficient. We ended up having to use the gateway to a field, which meant parking on a slope, not good for sleeping/cooking. Suggestions: - If you don't want to create some hardstanding pitches, at least use the plastic matting that is designed to stabilise grass (take a look at the Cobweb carpark in Boscastle) - Create a turning circle, so larger vehicles stand a chance and won't get bogged down, trying to turn round on the tiny road. - The shower/toilet block is horrible in wet/cold weather - no mats to stand on, no heating, we could see our breath in there. At least install some form of heating for colder weather (we did pay £85 for 5 nights after all) - You have a tack shop and a reception, so why not have a small stock of essentials (milk, butter, bread, beans, etc)? - Some signage would have stopped us passing reception, thinking it was just the equestrian bit. - If you do not wish to cater for larger motorhomes, then please don't encourage them. (but thanks to the nice chap who towed us out of the quagmire) I guess if you are just there for horseriding, the weather is nice and dry, you have a tent/light vehicle and there aren't too many booked in, it is probably ok.

I love Saturday club there go every week live buster my little boy the horses are great and the staff are realy nice and supportive if u love horses as much as I do then come here to ride🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴🐴I love horses so much and it's a pony club centre and it is just so fun and amazing and I love it every Saturday I'm up there with the horses so yh love u lakefeild and go there to camp and ride live u buster xx
