I was here on a fishing trip and not using the caravan park. It was a bitterly cold day and very few fish, mostly roach moving. The caravan park is a mixture of statics and tourers, not surprisingly for January it was fairly quiet. I have a tourer but given that I live just 30 minutes away and the fact that it is a little cramped I wouldn't use it. However, if fishing is your sport this place could be ideal for you. Facilities clean but small and carp abundant in warmer weather.

Good fishing no bread you can catch fish at all depts on pellets meat corn maggots , £7 per day £5 oap and children, catch carp roach tench perch , fish 7 am to 7pm. Must dip your keep and landing nets on arrival

Wonderful place! I needed somewhere to have some peace and quite, plus do some fishing and I couldn't have got any better than this. Nigel and Shirley really know how to look after you and they are always very friendly and helpful. The static caravan I stayed in was spotless and had everything I needed, all I had to pay extra for was the electricity. I only had to put £3 in the meter and it could have lasted me 6 weeks! Fishing is excellent and all the fish I caught were in pristine condition, it's very obvious that they take great care of the lake.
