Laindon, health centre , absolute joke, can never ever get through on the phone, very frustrating . Mite as well walk to the surgery and book a appointment, defeats the object. Got more chance of winning the lottery, than them picking up the phone, absolutely disgraceful service.
If you respect yourself and value your life at all, you wouldn’t bother registering here. Useless all round from rude receptionists to Gp’s that ask 3 questions and are done with you. Most recent problem: no appointments available via the automated booking system, so I create an online account and relay my issue to a robot. Within 4 days I receive a call- of course I am at work and like most people unable to pick up freely throughout the day, so I listen to the voicemail I was left and call back 15 mins later. I am 2nd in queue and then 1st and then like always, problem 43 arises and now there is a message saying “sorry, we are experiencing system problems, please call back later”- 30 mins later, same thing :. Absolute joke of a service I don’t know how they’re still able to run.
I'm so fed up with this gp practice now, every time I call I get so far in the queue, then get cut off. Then when I call back again an automated message says "Your call can't be be taken at the moment as our lines are busy". This afternoon bang on 1pm my finger was poised to call, when I passed the automated bit, I was 5th in the queue, then surprise surprise I get cut off. I immediately call back and I get the lines full message, today its been full so far for over an hour. I understand people need to speak to the doctors, that I haven't got an issue with, my issue is WHY DO YOU KEEP CUTTING ME OFF, WHEN IM ALREADY IN THE QUEUE. No it's not my phone, its not my network, it only happens when I call your surgery
I have to give 5 stars but if there were 10 stars I would too, the doctor who is still looking after me is literally the best doctor gp I've ever had the pleasure to meet. Her name is Nadia Yusif and she is so patient and very caring with every detail. Keep your hard working and keep being a people person. Thank you for looking after me
**Edit** I’ve rang twice position one, moved back to two, back to one, hung up on… rang again position five, then three then hung up! How are we suppose to get seen to if we can never book a appointment? Still no issues resolved still the same! Shocking can never get me or my daughter in for a appointment! Absolutely shocking
Impossible to get an appointment, online there are no appointments at all, not even months in advance, none at all. When you call them there are two options, one for a call back and the other is something to do with a care home or something, I waited for a more relevant option only to hear "goodbye". So I rang back and chose option 1 a call back, that was a week ago. I have extremely severe copd emphysema that was diagnosed from a chest x ray over a year ago and i still havent seen anyone about it. When i called the hopspital to chase up my referal i was told that the Dr had only referred me for a routine appointment so i can expect to wait until November. I can't even change Dr's because there isnt one in walking distance and I don't drive. The reply saying that "my issue had been resolved" is just ridiculous. Everytime I have any dealings with this surgery there's another issue. This time after waiting months to see my x ray result, the wrong results have been uploaded onto my medical record. Emphysema doesn't clear up unfortunately
Only if I could review without stars. The reception staff need serious training and monitoring. Every time I speak to them I end up in tears. They are extremely rude and nothing's been done about it almost like no one cares. Not sure how but I intend to take this to the next level. If they are not happy to work fine then stay at home and give room to those who will do the job and make patients happy. Dr Ward is amazing and caring, just a shame he finds himself among extremely rude people. Each time I think of it I get sick in my stomach, I am stress whenever I'm in a situation when I have to ring the GP. TOTAL DISASTER. I hope the staff are replaced by better ones.
Awful service. There are a couple of caring ones but not many. Called up in serious pain, explained my issues. Doctor just kept saying, oh yes, mmmh, I see. You know when someone isn't interested. Told me they would check my file and call back. Didn't, after 1 week i called up got another appointment and this doctor sent me instantly to see a specialist as emergency. Put in complaint, which wasn't read, was then sent email and letter. Letter said if you don't like it leave. Lost my samples, cancelled my appointments without any notice too.
Absolutely useless practice the staff who answer the phone are useless and are of no help for a doctors practice you would think you could rely on them for imformation regarding matters but they dont seem to care and are in no hurry to help or to give advice
The reception staff really need monitoring! How can they be that rude! Sighs, huffs and puffs at simple questions thinking they know better then the parent or doctor, they make mistakes and place the blame on the patient! If anyone is suffering with depression or anxiety they will definitely not make you feel comfortable! I highly recommend you do not go to this surgery.. I mean all you have to do is check the reviews and its always the same thing! The reception! I'm guessing whoever checks the reviews is the receptionist ... i will definitely be changing doctors as there have been to many mistakes made and I just hate the way the staff talk to me ... disgusting behaviour
