It is a very good library with lots of books and good staff. It is very clean the computers will shut down after a hour and you can't log on until tomorrow. I have been there lots of times and it's very good.

Window seats offer a quiet oasis for catching up or a breather to choose. Typical offerings of DVD and other materials in a book-cathedral which is surrounded by trees. Calm, up-to-date publications, the noisy small people enjoying books just far enough away to be a soothing babble for the adult seating. Park, near rail and bus link with shops a zebra crossing away. Staff are also excellent, though sparse on the ground due to cuts.

Great place to sit down with a book and relax. Its a modern library and is well managed by Essex Libraries. Its worth getting a membership too. There's limited parking at the rear but plenty of on street parking available. They also offer a few computers if you want to get online. Other services like FAX are available too.
