First time here.  Could do with better signage to the place as the brown road signs didn’t mention the Island Arts Centre and if you’re not from the Lisburn district, you don’t know that it’s at the other end of the Civic Centre.  Security were very helpful in directing me last night - very welcoming and friendly.  Beautiful entrance to the Centre.  Toilets clean and tidy.  Parking could go with signs to say visitors parking though as I had no idea where I’d parked and whether I’d be locked in by the barriers.nnHad a great evening at one of the Seachtain na Gaeilge events.  Nice to see the Irish language on the walls towards the arts centre as the language is all around us and the stories are really interesting!  Had a great night with some really friendly people.  Thanks to Gina and the team for organising a second session after the first was booked out so quickly.  Didn’t expect the sandwiches and tea either but fabulous!  Well done to LCCC for a super series of events.  Much appreciated.

I was teaching first aid in the Oak Room - one of the best training venues that I've come across. Staff are very helpful and the large touchscreen monitor is excellent.  Room was spotless.

My nephew got married here on Friday & it was a warm, friendly and homely atmosphere. Facilities fantastic, with an outside patio area and seating. The official marriage but was very professional but felt very personal & relaxed all at the same time.

Great location, nice place to walk around - loads of parking, easy to get in and out of. There are some great rooms for events also. All good!

Plenty of classes available, regular shows  and exhibitions too. Good free parking.  Staff friendly and helpful.
