My daughter who is 12 had her hair cut on a Saturday and gave a picture to the stylist for him to see exactly what she wanted. However he has gone his own way and made to be frank a botch job of the cut! When I met my daughter outside of the salon I thought oh my god but I thought that must be what she wanted, so I didn't say anything! It was uneven and I thought a bloody mess. Later on the way home in the car she burst into tears and told me that she hadn't really been shown the progress of the cut and it wasn't anything like she wanted. She showed me the picture and her hair was in no way similar,at all, to what she had asked for! I contacted the salon and spoke to the owner who said that they would have a look on the following Tuesday! When I said to my daughter she got quite upset about having to go to school on Monday! So I asked a family friend to try to tidy it up which she did well as best she could. I asked her about the cut and she was adamant that it was of poor standard. Blending (whatever that is) was rubbish and there was a chunk missing out of her fringe. Bear in mind Kelly has been a hairdresser for 20 + years and knows the ropes running her own business. Now for the worst bit. When I contacted the salon on Monday I was asked to send pictures of the cut and of what my daughter had wanted! Which I did to who I found out to be Paula. She got back to me and said that she couldn't see a problem 🤓 with the cut, which I found to be absolutely incredible! But she would offer a £10 discount off my daughters next cut! My daughter does not want to go back for obvious reasons and this was relayed back to Paula in a series of emails! The last one I have asked for a refund of £27 for what my daughter paid! To which there has been no reply! I have asked for Paula to phone me to discuss to which again no reply.! I know that these things happen but I am very disappointed in the after service for an upset young girl. As well as the dismissive attitude that has been shown! So be warned!
