A stunning collection in a beautiful building. A £5 donation felt very reasonable and was glad to do it. The staff are really friendly and engaging and there are lockers for storing your rucksack etc, which was perfect for me. It wasn’t too busy but the cafe seemed to be downstairs. This is such a lovely place. I've been several times and really enjoy the calm, beauty, varied cultural artefacts, fascinating history - not only of the Lever family, but of the local area. Last time I really loved the exhibition of landscapes by female artists over the years.

Excellent collection of art and artifacts collected by the Lever family in particular. Interesting information in places. Well laid out, you just need to be methodical in your visit. The fairy work was amazing, the detail in the drawings immense. Highly recommended this for any budding art student. The surrounding area is a must see too. No photos of gallery as not allowed but others provided.
