Brand new to Clacton on sea, our wedding boutique will offer a wide range of wedding/prom dresses, gifts, shoes & ideas to make your day perfect. Everyone of our brides will endure a VIP experience, champagne on arrival and the chance to try on all of our stunning dresses you will be assigned help from our expert bridal consultant.

This is the most amazing bridal shop i have been to! I spent the whole week going to various different stores including the main ones in Colchester and none of them compare, I must admit I was quite concerned after I read a previous rating on here but It couldn’t be more wrong, I did ask about the comments that someone had made and Sophie (the owner) explained to me that ‘the child’ that was mention was actually a little girl that visits the store regularly after Sophie gifted her a princess day and her own princess gown for saving her mums life when she was three, she loves visiting the shop and it so sad that people make that a reason to complain! Anyway i found the most amazing gown today and the service was second to none! I cannot wait to wear my stunning dress on my big day. Sophie you do the most amazing job, your shop is perfect, your gowns are so beautiful and so well priced and you also go out of your way to help women find the prefect dress! Thank you for everything X

Fantastic experience from start to finish. After visiting other bridal shops I felt some what deflated but Lacey’s offered a very personal service. They not only supplied my dress the men’s suits 12 bridesmaids and mother of the bride and groom they also saved the day when my original wedding venue cancelled on me 3 months before the big day. Can not recommend enough

Visited this shop for a appt, arrived on time and told owner on holiday so someone else would be dealing with me. Previous customers were still in the shop and clearly not happy about something from what could hear. There was a child running about the shop, plates of food laying about, and the shop looking generally a bit messy. Started my appt nearly half hour latec and when I was looking at the dresses none of them had prices on. I Asked what they were and no one knew. Someone who doesn’t even work in the shop was taking my appt, not the professional bridal consultants you would expect. Questioned dress prices again and told would try and find on system which they couldn’t do, encouraged me to try dresses on even though couldn’t say if they were within my budget. Left the shop without trying anything on and feeling like my dress shopping experience had been ruined and was quite upset. One of my bridesmaids was assured I would be contacted to discuss what had happened., and still haven’t been. I have sent a message and had no acknowledgment. I was really looking forward to trying on dresses for the first time: however the experience I received at Lacey’s has put me right off. I certainly would not be recommending this shop to anyone.

Helpful, made the choosing of my daughters wedding dress fun, not pushy in any way. Would definitely recommend to anyone 😊
