A pleasant evening spent with friends comprising six nationalities with English and Spanish as either first or second languages, was made even more enjoyable by the welcome, service and food we had at La Tasca, Barclaycard Arena. La Tasca overlooks the Old Turn Junction where the BCN Main Line canal to Wolverhampton meets the Worcester Birmingham canal and the Birmingham and Fazeley canal. Our group indulged in a variety of tapas perhaps fourteen in total, accompanied by White and Rosé Sangria, with some of our party starting with non-alcoholic drinks. The majority of the conversation was conducted in Spanish, with the orders given and taken in Spanish. My mother tongue is English, as a novice Spanish speaker, I found the experience very pleasant. The environment at La Tasca lent itself readily to a cosmopolitan experience in good company.

Excellent food and excellent decor, location and staff. 2-4-1 on Sangria was an added bonus too in cool mini jars. Will definitely visit again.

Good place to eat some halfway decent tapas, but not a paella, as a Spaniard I am ashamed that someone would take that dish that is served in this restaurant as something of ours, in Spain they would throw it at your head if they served something like that.  Good place to eat half decent tapas, but not paella,as Spanish I am ashamed how someone takes that dish served in this restaurant as our significant meal, in Spain you would throw at your head if they served something like that.
