Easily the best cafe on Holloway Road. The food is always fantastic, as is the service. The prices are very reasonable.

This is a great find. When you first walk in you'll notice the decor is matched by the friendliness of the staff. You feel at home straight away, the place is fresh, clean and inviting. This restaurant would be just at home on Upper Street.  Having a 16 month old on a push bike we were provided with a high chair straight away and the staff were more than happy to take the push bike and store it while we had brunch without us even asking.  We wanted a healthy breakfast and this was perfect. The breakfast/lunch menu isn't massive but everything on there is appealing. We chose an omelet and eggs Benedict. It came quickly and was cooked to perfection. I couldn't find fault at all.  The food was perfect, fresh and filling. To top the great food, the staff were kind enough to bring a Babyccino as a surprise which was a little frothed  milk with some cocoa powder on and our little one loved it.  All in all great service/food/surroundings. Will definitely be returning.

Great food and lovely atmosphere. You wouldn't expect to find such a cute yet hip café on the busy road that is Holloway road and yet there it is! They have a temporary ramp staff will put out if you need and the bathroom is accessible to smaller wheelchairs. The staff is nice and knowledgeable about the menu.

I hope the owners read this: A few months back this was my favorite breakfast place on Holloway Road and in the area. The service was basic anyway apart from the senior guy there, food was brilliant though. Now this has changed, not sure why. The food was bad, the mushrooms were SUGARY. Also a set up table was sticky too and for some reason there is always an issue with the card machine and of course there are problems with all 3 of your cards...

I went to La Tarte Parisienne on its opening day and was bowled over. I ordered eggs Benedict with a coffee and was so impressed; flavoursome food and warm service.  I was so keen to show this place off to family and friends yet the experience we had this morning was dire and I now feel very embarrassed I ever raved about this place.  The coffee is still top notch but the food was very poor. The eggs Benedict could not have been more different from the dish I was served some months back. The eggs were undercooked, the presentation was sloppy and the hollandaise sauce was disgusting. The first time I had this dish it was served with spinach and shredded ham on some form of sourdough bread. Today it was served on a barely toasted muffin with none of the extras.  Another person in my group ordered a full English breakfast and it didn't turn up until the rest of the group had finished theirs. When it finally did turn up it was swimming in oil, covered in very fatty bacon, missing a hash brown and with the unwelcome addition of egg shell in the fried egg.  So sad to see a place start really strongly yet falter a few months later.  Avoid this place

Such a great local find. I had of the best chocolate cakes I have ever had in the UK. Also, the poached eggs were perfect, the avocado ripe and generous and salmon tasty. Coffee was delicious too!

I can honestly say that La Tarte Parisienne, for me, makes the nicest coffee I have had in a while and it is always presented beautifully
