This isn’t a posh place by any means, closer to fast food than a proper restaurant. But it’ll do if you’re famished and on O’Connell street and all the other restaurants have long waits to be seated. The price could be cheaper for the food we got but the melted cheese on the lasagne and pizza were fabulous.
Very poor service, food was generally poor and overpriced for quality, drinks were rather small, overpriced and took longer than the meal to arrive. Glasses were very dirty and when we mentioned it to a member of staff they commented on it being because "it's flour from where they have been making the pizzas and it was the chefs first day." It raises a few questions. 1 where are the glasses stored? 2 how can you miss that much dirt on a glass? And if it was the person's first day then why weren't they supervised? Overall a very very poor service and I wouldn't recommend going here as there are far better places nearby.
Not bad at all €10 gets you an 8" pizza chips and salad which is good for the center of Dublin and pretty much any city!. More pasta dishes would be good.
I would not recommend here. I went in for a quiet quick bite and to be fair, I got that. However, for the price you pay the food quality is not worth it. I fought off flies for the duration of the meal and the food pizza was pretty flavorless. The quality of the meat was questionable. The staff were pleasant. The positive aspects were the staff and the speed.
There was no waiting time..... I got a seat by the window. I asked what the "Soup of the Day" was and I ordered before sitting down. It came immediately. Advertised as Soup with crusty bread and butter - however I got a bowl of average, quality, flavoured - I'm being generous with 3 stars! Carrot & Coriander soup with one slice of white toast, halved, no butter offered! for €4.50 Last night I had an absolutely delicious thick, creamy, wholesome Vegetable Soup in Murray's Bar &Grill nearby. It was served with 2 slices of homemade, wholemeal, Irish Soda Bread with 2 portions of butter. I'm sorry I didn't go back there. I wish I had read the reviews first! :- Service was fast and pleasant, which is why I have 3 stars.....
High value! Every soup is so delicious .
The staff and service is great, however, the food is not. The shepherds pie we got was small - paid around 9€ - and came with some yellowy oily chips. The BBQ pizza 12 inch was not too tasty, it had the BBQ sauce, yet the pizza lacked flavour.
Pizza and fries were OK. Coke tasted watered down. At least the price was reasonable. Place looks cheap, don't make a meal of it. Fine if you're getting food when passing, seeing a movie etc.
Pizza is real good. But yeah, the waitresses' attitude kills the whole place. They're quite rude and have rolled their eyes at me multiple times. Not worth coming back. Completely avoid this spot.
Lovely food and fairly priced but what let it down was how badly it's run. The poor girl servicing people on her own was run off her feet and as a result people were coming in and not getting served and I was 10 minutes standing waiting to pay. Couple more staff to make that poor girls life easier and it would have been great
