I had the set menu, 3 courses for around £33. Excellent value & really tasty food, good service. I had garlic mushrooms to start topped with cheese & garlic butter & breadcrumbs. Really good portion for a starter. Then for main I had steak, cooked perfectly & quite a large steak. For desert I had a creme brulee, beautifully creamy & crisp top. Restaurant is decorated very chic, a romantic place def recommend you check it out

I'm not a huge fan of French food, but this restaurant is a must-try on upper street, and a firm favourite of everyone I've met who lives in the area. 

It's cosy, romantic, with a lovely interior decor and design. The location is perfectly placed in the centre of upper street, and the service is consistently friendly, warm and attentive. 

The food itself is delicious, and I'd highly recommend trying something new (there's always something weird and wonderful on the menu). The crepes are also a must for desert! The pricing is very reasonable for what it is, and you could easily stay within £20 per person on food for a really good meal. 

I'd highly recommend it to anyone, for a candle lit catch up with a friend, or a romantic dinner! The only area for development of recommend is that the set menus on certain nights (like valentine's Day) are really restrictive and the dishes don't reflect the best food they have on offer. Our last visit put me off returning on set-menu evenings

Second visit to this restaurant with friends and didn't disappoint again. Had a three course meal again cos the food is so tastety and plentiful. Reasonably price and well presented. Not overly noisy so you could hear yourself speak. All five of us enjoyed our meals. Would go back again and would rate it above other restaurants of it's kind.

Friendly staff. BUT... very little to do with French cuisine despite the names of dishes in French ! 
Very little effort on presentation.
Food just put on a plate.
But generous portions.
Food itself was not very tasty.
" Les 12 Escargots " were all over the place on the plate, some upside down and swimming in a garlicky watery jus and they were rubbery.
Disappointed as i was hopping for a real taste of my homeland Gastronomy.

I must declare that I was a guest of the excellent Restaurant Club for a PR evening at this delightful local restaurant. The service and the food was very good for what is a first class local eatery. I would not hesitate to go back with friends who live in the vicinity but is too far from me to use it as a convenient night out location. I wish it was!
