My 3 year old daughter started her first evening class last month at Sherwood Forest Little Gym. The staff for her funny bugs class have been absolutely brilliant. They go the extra mile every week if a child is upset or needs some encouragement to get them moving. Highly recommended for parents looking for a fun, healthy, inclusive environment for their little ones.
The Little Gym offers an incredible outlet for children to release their energy. Still, I'm most impressed with the diligent staff who genuinely care about the well-being of every participant while creating such a welcoming atmosphere for parents and relatives as well. Our son has been attending every week since September 2021, which remains a highlight for him. We even hosted two of his birthdays here, which were exceptionally well received by the children and parents who attended. A special shoutout to Miss Abby and Mr. Kieran for being patient, energized, and organized. Enrolling our son at The Little Gym has been among our best decisions.
Recently attended a birthday party there ! The Staff were great! Super high energy and fun ! My son had a great time ! The facility was large and clean ! Super fun activities, we were never bored that’s for sure !! Fun pizza party afterwards where staff were very interactive! Perfect length for the age group. Would definitely recommend! We had a blast!
Worth ever penny Staff is amazing My daughter is very shy and didn’t do much during the first class after a few classes she started to warm up and now she is all over and allowing the staff to help her which is huge . Wish I started my daughter earlier than 2 .my daughter looks forward to her weekly class . Also the flexibility for missed classes is amazing .kids get sick etc so a quick text and I can re schedule her class for another day
I worked as an instructor there for many years and have to say it's one of the best places I could recommend for children to learn, grow and develop on every level. The instructors are caring and passionate about the work they do and the kids evolve so much interpersonally, physically, mentally and emotionally from the skils they learn. Highly recommend for the childrens sake, however as a former employee- the managment in my opinion does not financially compensate its employees fairly in terms of workplace responsibilities or inflation.
One of the good schools and opportunities that my little girls were lucky to learn and grow here and build their confidence and social skills. So grateful for their efforts and support in raising good happy kids and youth . Thank you TLG
Every kid loves to dance and do pirouettes, my daughter is no exception. I found in the Little Gym an excellent place to let my child's energy flow in a safe and educational matter. Teachers are very well prepared to encourage the love for dancing and doing exercise that leaves your kids ready for bed. Also, the relationship between quality and price has no equal all over the city. I'd recommend to any parent who is looking to integrate their child to a physical activity to at least try The Little Gym, you'll be in love.
I could post millions of pics from the Little Gym.. which I have on my Facebook and this is my first post ever on google but because I love the little gym so much I will try to advertise and let everyone know who is hesitating to try.. TRY IT!!!!! You will not regret it!!! I promise u!!! Incredible staff, incredible birthday parties, lets just say its the best gym in town!
We had a horrible experience with little gym facility in Hyde park. My daughter had a medical condition and hence she couldn’t attend 4 out of 7 sessions. They didn’t show any consideration to make up for the missed classes. We tried to call and went in-person but they just wiped out all the classes. We were even ready to register my daughter for fall season but they didn’t show any flexibility. Overall pathetic services and inconsiderate.
My husband and I simply love The Little Gym and recommend their programs to every new and experienced parent that we meet. We started our son, Jack, at the Little Gym when he was just shy of 11 months old. He was far from crawling and still wasn’t too keen on the idea of “tummy time”. I had just finished attending a Mom and Tot class we had tried several with no luck of catching Jack’s heart when I walked by the big windows and saw children laughing and playing to music as they ran about in this warm and inviting room. I decided to go inside to inquire as to what was going on and it was the best decision I have made regarding my son’s development. We attended a trial class, where we were able to bring Jack in for a sit in on one of their regular running classes, and within 15 minutes we knew that this is where we wanted to be. We had never seen our son so involved and excited to be trying new things. We started Jack in the Birds program that day, and within weeks he went from a log on the floor to crawling and running. He was learning speech, visual ques, movement, how to observe, how to listen and how to try – he was even learning how to clean up after himself! And while he was learning all these things, we as parents were learning how to teach, what to look for, how to encourage our son and what he should be learning and when. Jack is now going on 18 months and is graduating from Birds and moving on to the Beasts program at Little Gym; and we couldn’t be more proud! Every week we look forward to our class at The Little Gym. We look forward to what new skills that not only Jack will be learning, but that we will all be learning as a family. I look forward to the many years to come with Jack in the program at Little Gym and signing him up for other dance and sport classes offered by The Little Gym once he is old enough. After every class, my husband and I look to each other and know we made the right decision by attending this program and how lucky we are to have walked past that one day.
