Really nice a romantic venue for a meal. Family run restaurant with amazing food. Had a lovely meal and would recommend. It's on Henley-in-Arden High Street so parking is a little difficult at times. Plenty of places to move on to for drinks after within walking distance.
Warmest welcome in Henley from the husband and wife team who seem to be working every night of the week. Maria is Italian and cooks the fantastic food. Jamal does a great front of house job. Highly recommended. I've eaten here regularly over the past 12 years and it's consistently good.

Really superb home cooked fresh food. The wife is the chef and the husband runs the bar and restaurant. This is no big chain churning out the same stuff. It's cooked with love and care and always tastes amazing and the service is superb. It works because it is their family business and they are lovely people who really care about the quality. We live a few villages away and come back time after time. Always really look forward to it and have never been dissapointed.

Decent food at a decent price cooked by what appeared to be people genuinely from Italy. I was pleased to see they also have Peroni on draught at a sensible price, unlike many Italian restaurants that charge silly money for bottled beer.Food: 5/5
My friends and I booked a table for dinner on a 31 degree evening, were the first people of the evening to arrive and so were asked whether we would like a table outside. We said yes, it was lovely in the sun. The restaurant quickly filled with customers outside and in, and when thunder and lightening started under an hour since we arrived everyone rushed inside with our full plates and wine glasses so as to avoid the rain. There were only a couple of tables free inside and we were told that 'because we asked for a table outside' we would have to eat our dinner over a tiny counter top in the corner of the room, also over a bin with no seats because the two tables were booked for people who hadn't even arrived yet... when we had also booked? The food was generally good but the customer service from the manager was APPALLING offering no discount, no free drinks or apology whatsoever.
Nice food, needs online booking as struggle to get through on phone to book a table.... no answer. Also miss the peroni on tap they used to have, bottles aren't as good.
Maria and Gamal make a lovely atmosphere. The wines are excellent have the montepulciano d'abruzzo the beer is great and the pasta is always cooked absolutely perfectly. Well priced evening out, finished with an excellent home made tiramisù
