La Dinette is about trying to recreate (in a very modest way) my childhood memories which are mostly filled with Sunday trips to the local patisserie and market with my dad, long family lunches ending with delicious and beautiful cakes, rainy days at home baking with my sister (who has always been a much better cook than me), making tons of jam with my mum and my grandma, and talking (and arguing) about food with my brother.
Using natural and organic products as much as possible (such as organic flour from Shipton Mill, organic eggs from Rookery Farm, Valrhona Chocolate - the Rolls Royce of chocolate) we aim to create delicious and beautiful macarons and other treats.
Our macarons and cannelés are available online, but if you're in London then you can come to our workshop/cafe where you'll find so much more - not least great coffee (we share the space with coffee roasters Campbell & Syme). We're at 9 Fortis Green, East Finchley, N2 9JR.
