I used to love this place. Good place after 8 Slices shut down. Unfortunately they changed their chicken recently. Which really ruins their Chicken pizzas. Which usually are my regular. Used to be cubed chicken breast now is like a cheap shredded chicken. Honestly is sad. Hope they get the standards back.  Overall last three times we ordered at least 1 of our pizzas was overcooked. 1 time our pizza was so drenched in red oil it was not edible and recently our cheeseburgers came without cheese and chicken burgers came with poor quality. It really is a shame because it had really good quality until recently. Will update this if when we try it in the near future again.

Avoid!! Wouldn’t even give it 1 star. We ordered last night, both myself and my husband was sick after eating cold, hard kebab meat and chips that had clearly been cooked and cooked again several times. Disgusting! I hate leaving negative feedback but after trying to speak to the manager with no luck I had no choice. I will also be reporting this take away for bad standards.. this could of been resolved but they refused to talk to us. The lady in the shop was also extremely rude to me on the phone

No idea what has happened to the quality of the food in this place. Chicken burgers are awful and the chicken on pizzas is terrible. Sometimes has a bone in my pizza. What the hell. The only thing this place does extremely well is its garlic mayo.

The pizza  was ok. We got additional bits on that we didn't order on the pizza. The base was a little soggy. They need to invest in a new pizza cutter as it just fell apart when trying to eat a section .Food: 2/5

It says "The Best In York!". I beg to differ!! We spent alot of money and the food wasn't nice at all. Complete waste of money. Would definately NOT return.

Didn’t eat here, however stayed across the road. Please ask your delivery drivers to have a tiny amount of respect for your neighbours. 1 in particular who drives a silver Mercedes was laid in the drivers seat from 2am to 3 am with the engine running keeping us awake. On top of this your staff seem to think it is acceptable to shout and ball at the top of their voices at 2:45 in the morning. No idea if your food is any good but you have no manners or consideration for anyone else in the local area to your shop.

Been going here for years always good food good service and fast delivery when required.  Went last week chicken over cooked and dry.  kebab meat like leather not enjoyable.  Wondering if it has changed owners.

Doesn't deserve any stars at all, but it caters to the drunk. If 0 was a score it would be very deserving. Went there a few days ago and the food was so greasy but dry and the same time, it was unedible. Seeing the other reviews on here confirms everything. I wasn't going to say anything, I was just going to avoid this place in future, but as I'm a local and I got horrible abuse/ harassment from a disgusting "man" standing in the doorway on a different occasion open door closed shop, he definitely worked or owned here, this review is more than deserved. When this place is quite well known across York for the appalling hygiene standards I would suggest you learn some manners.. no wonder locals down Bootham don't go here. Plenty of nicer takeaways in York. Will be warning as many people as I can

Nice pizzas although if this was what they class as double pepperoni I'm glad I didn't order just the regular type.Food: 3/5

my pizza was an hour late and cold.  They pretended they did not understand me but they can take your money.
