Absolute pleasure to eat there.. food is excellent.... staff incredibly attentive ... and fairly good wine list... prices are not just competitive but respectful to the customer... try it out and experience a proper TAPAS restaurant in Dublin with authentic TAPAS chefs....

Great choice of tapas. It's the perfect place to drink wine, eat food, and chat with friends.

Giving it a five . Food was excellent. Wine very palatable. Service was a bit slow but that shouldn’t take away from the experience. Highly recommended.

Great food, abysmal service. Myself and my boyfriend visited La Bodega for dinner. Our food was fantastic. However our service was not. Our water glasses were not refilled once dying our visit. After placing our orders we did not see our waitress for over an hour. We were left with dirty plates for at least 20 minutes and were left waiting another 25 to order dessert which we had to do by checking the dessert offering on the website as nobody came near us to ask if we wanted to see the menu. This is despite the fact that the waitress who had taken our dinner order was in the dining room and we had gotten her attention twice which she acknowledged but still never bothered to actually stop by our table. We eventually received our dessert from another member of staff. I tried to complain about our absent waitress to the manager on duty but he was more interested in talking over me while I tried to explain what had happened. He was kind enough to eventually take our wine and dessert off our bill, but I'm afraid the long wait and rude staff still put a dampener on the evening. The place appears to fall apart as soon as the owner leaves for the evening. Would not go back as there are many other tapas restaurants in Dublin with equally good food and much better service.
