The food is absolutely delicious, we tried several different plates and they were all wonderful. The place is beautiful and as a good vibe. However plates are really small, this is a tapas restaurant, but prices are a bit high and the service is very very slow. There were only 2 workers in the kitchen, and they were doing their best, everything was tasty and beautifully presented, but it took ages... It is also a bit pricey, we payed more than 30 pounds at lunch, with no wine or desert.
Would recommend a visit to La Bobina if you're in Cirencester looking for authentic tapas. The Shawarma was our favourite, the tempura aubergine is a must have, very similar to a banana fritter! Overall a great meal but it is a little on the pricey side. Staff were super friendly and helpfulFood: 5/5
Superb lunch time tapas. Friendly staff, delicious food, excellent house wine and beer. I would highly recommend booking and trying a good selection of the dishes. Open plan clean kitchen where you can see chef’s hygienically preparing the food. A Spanish delight, not to be missed! Gracias!
I highly recommend this place. The menu looked nice and the reviews were good, the chefs and the service were even better. Stopped for a lunch time meal and had the house wine which i was told was a very good wine and i was not disappointed, not acidic and a perfect meal companiion. typically in UK the house wine is awful...immediately happy with service and my house wine i then awaited the meal and again not disappointed. We ordered octopus knowing that typically places either dont have it fresh or cook it bad...again it was fantastic and grilled to perfection. Next the prawns, padron peppers, potatoes, lamb...all come out at the right time nicely paced and all cooked as expected with great flavours. All 3 of us cleared our plates finished our wine and left very happy and full. Then we popped round the corner after leaving and entered a bakery full of awesome cake goodies. they were another great find. Thank you
Really friendly and attentive staff with delicious food! I believe we were served by Fyn who was super accommodating and even helped us clean up after I ruined our dishes, the table and the floor with water! . We had patatas bravas, smoked tuna and the steak with a pitcher of sangria. Absolutely delicious!! The steak with the chimicurri sauce was our favourite. This place is on the pricey side but definitely worth it, especially if you're celebrating something special! Vegetarian options: The menu is very easy to find what you need with dishes split into meat, seafood and veggie, all with very similar amounts of choice.
My sisters & I were staying at the De Vere Cotswolds Water Park hotel but didn’t fancy dinner at any of the hotel restaurants so we Googled what was nearby and La Bobina caught our attention. No regrets! Lovely setting, friendly and warm staff, great menu choices and tasty responsibly priced food. We had the chicken croquettes, monkfish tempura, padrón peppers, chorizo, patatas bravas, garlic mushrooms and sangria. Admittedly, I’ve had better chorizo & sangria elsewhere, hence 4 and not 5 stars but, overall, it was a lovely experience. A nice dinner for our sisters weekend away.
Food was great - particularly enjoyed the green peppers. The restaurant did a set menu specifically for our large group. Food was brilliant and there was so much we didn't finish it, which is practically unheard of. Service was good, and the location is great. Price was incredibly good based on the volume and quality of the food, would recommend.
Stunning building, gorgeous food and wonderful staff. We had such a brilliant experience and can’t wait to come back! I really recommend the lamb shoulder and the mushroom croquettes.
Best tapas I have had in my life. Super flavoursome and heavenly! The waiter who catered to us was so friendly, warm and smiley which is so important. He had the right energy and made the evening extra special with his humour and charisma!
This is a great place for tapas. The food was delicious and it has a really nice atmosphere. However I don't recommend the bar area stools....rather hard! We will go again but sit elsewhere.Food: 5/5
