Went to La Barca to celebrate our anniversary. Best meal out we've had in years. Excellent service - all the food is fresh and made to order - superb surroundings and views. Very friendly staff without being a nuisance. Reasonable prices and good portions. All very relaxed and most enjoyable.We will definitely be going back.
A friendly and very personal service. Meal cooked right away for child just what a parent needs to settle a hungry boy. Starter of calamari not oily and very meaty and garlic bread top notch. Pizza I managed to eat half it was covered in topping and tasted great. Very enjoyable meal worthy of a good review. Thanks guys!
Still to date, my favourite restaurant. I go there to celebrate most of my anniversaries and when my parents come to visit we often go out for a meal.. and La Barca the Boat in Italian is our place. The view of our Forth Bridge is stunning and almost all tables have a window view. This is a family run restaurant, just like in Italy restaurants work, so uncomparable to any corporation run restaurant such as Bella Italia, Bella Pasta, Pizza Express. Food is delicious! La barca is directed by Italians hence food is still as Italians expect food to look and taste like. Enjoy. Yours sincerely. Denis.
We love going to this restaurant, it has excellent food every time, and the same friendly staff are always there. If you want a real authentic Italian experience, I definitely recommend that you go to La Barca!
Went to La Barca last week with my mum, and I am already returning again! Lovely food, and the view was amazing. Definitely worth a trip!
Food is brilliant, really yummy Italian homemade food, although i can not say the same about the service, waited for almost 5 min waiting at the reception desk to be attended and still waiting for the drinks we ordered with our main course
Very friendly both Italian and English spoken staff. A bit disappointed of food which was quite bland and tasteless. Average prices. Stunning view!
