I came here for my 24th Birthday and I can safely say that it did not disappoint. We had the set menu which was absolutely phenomenal in both quality, taste and value. The service that we received was exceptional, we were really impressed with all of the staff. My only criticism is that we could smell the toilets from the bar area which we were seated in whilst waiting for our table. Other than this it was a 5 star visit, will definitely be returning.
A lovely place, amazing staff and brilliant food. Food portions in places which are a bit pricey can tend to get a lot smaller, the portions were very good. I came for my graduation dinner and they greeted me with a free drinkvery nice and a dessertalso lovely. I would happily go back here and recommend it to anyone. Not a bad thing to say about it
I visited here for Mother’s Day as I’d been wanting to try this place out due to its prime location. Upon arrival, the staff were warm and friendly, and we had a short waiting time due to booking in advance. We were given a lovely table overlooking the canal, and the decor was really warm and vibrant. We sat down, and although our waiter tried his best and was really friendly, he could have done with more training. He did not know how to take our order or put it through on the tablets they were using. He did try his best, but it really reflects badly on the business, especially since it's a high-end restaurant. For starters, we ordered oysters and sourdough bread. The sourdough was really poor in my opinion and not warm, but the oysters were nice and the starters were prompt. Mains took so long to come out; I understand it may have been busy; however, for the kind of prices being asked, you would expect a certain standard. While waiting, we asked for crayons with our children’s activity pack three times. In the end, we were given a black biro pen by a waitress who has black hair , and she was really serious and a little rude. When my cod came, it was lovely, but it was ridged with bones! The last thing I want to be doing is picking bones out of my fish. It wasn’t a one-off; there were loads! Nevertheless, the flavour was great. We ordered a kid's dessert but had to cancel it because we had been there for over two hours. Overall, it was a poor experience, and I was really disappointed as I was anticipating this place.
Haven't been here in so long...This place is still a great restaurant to visit, still very impressive inside, good atmosphere we dined here and the food was simply amazing!! Starters were incredible for mains I had the ox cheek - OMG and wife had the delicious duck - she couldn't finish it so I helped The house wine was of a real good quality and cocktails as good has I remembered. The lad from Manchester made us feel at home and was genuinely friendly looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend whether for drinks at bar or restaurant can't go wrong.
Thank you so much Bank & team for presenting mesmerizing birthday memories in our life that will never be forgotten Ambience, food, service everything was wonderful... Food - Asian platter, Beef Steak & Crab ravioli & potato chips... So delicious... Special thanks to Head Chef Rob & Roman, Chef Michele For excellent service - Mark & Maddy
Such a great meal here, cocktails were really good and not as expensive as I thought they’d be! The steak tartar was incredible big fan of that and the venison was cooked beautifully with the truffle mash. I would 100% eat here again next time I’m visitingRecommended dishesTempura King Prawns, Fish and Chips
Visited with our 'round table' of 6 friends and found such a table. Food, atmosphere and service were really good. The chairs were a little low to sit in but the waiter kindly brought a cushion to sit on - so much for being short ‼ Parking: Use Brindley Place and it's a couple of minutes walk
Went again and the food was much better . Such a wonderful atmosphere and the staff are so warm and welcoming. Both times I've ended up with the same waiter and he's so relaxed and makes you feel at home.Food: 4/5
Great cocktails and service. We sat outside in the sun for a cocktail or two. There was ample seating and the heat lamps were a nice touch to take the chill off your shoulders in the spring weather.
Food and drinks are consistently solid. If you have a sweet tooth and love coffee, I recommend trying their salted caramel espresso martini. Minus one star because their service is usually slow.
