The week got off to a bad start when my windscreen wipers siezed up and failed to work. After calling numerous mechanics to do the repair, l finally came across Lee at L M Motors in Ashton-under-Lyne. From the offset he was extremely helpful with a very pleasant manner, unlike all the others I'd spoken to previously.  The following day l drove to his garage so he could assess the problem. Straight away from the way he spoke, l knew this man was very knowledgeable in his field, which always gives you peace of mind. Anyway to cut a long story short, within 5 minutes Lee had sorted the problematic windscreen wipers and l couldn't have been more grateful. I was going to pay for the work with my debit card but his machine wasn't working so he just told me it didn't matter so the job was done for free. I can't even begin to tell you how happy l was. This guy saved me between £200-300!!  What started off as a bad week ended in a great week all thanks to Lee. I drove home with a big smile on my face....it's not every day you meet guys like him but he's definitely one of the good guys. What an absolute Gem of a find. Couldn’t ask for a more Genuine and Honest garage. Called in to drop Daughters car off after RAC couldn’t find the fault why it kept cutting out. Was supposed to be booked in for the next day hence just dropping it off night before. They had a quick look there and then just past shutting up shop time. They diagnosed the fault and repaired it within half an hour.  I would strongly recommend Family & Friends and most definitely be trusting them with my vehicles in the future. 10/10

Took my car here a couple of weeks ago to look at diagnostics and the owner told me my wheel alignment was out. I had to take it to National Auto Tyres to get it sorted but he never charged me anything to have a look at it and tell me what the issue was. I will use this garage for any issues in the future, highly recommended.

Lee mackay is the ultimate professional with honesty and dedication! He has taken care of all my cars over the years, if I had broke down, fire in the electrics, ceased-brakes, engine failure or ripping a roof rack from a height barrier. He has always been a fabulous mechanic and I would not go anywhere else.  The evidence is shown with his work and the invoice produced. The guy is worth every pound spent!!
