Lovely food and best steak I've had for a long time. Deserts were nice too.
Really nice looking glass fronted restaurant allowing you to watch the world go by as you enjoy your meal. Unfortunately it's was difficult location to find if it's your first time as there is a cafe with the same name backing on to it, however the waitress was amazing and walked us round to the correct side. The service was great to start with and made you very comfortable, attentive is an understatement. The food is amazing as you would expect from the price and even something as simple as bread and oil or olives were the best I've eaten. The starters, mains and desserts followed the same vein and were equally good. Everyone ordered something different and everyone was silently eating away before they sang the dishes praises once they were done. The only reason I removed half a start should be 4.5/5 is that the level of attention shown to our table became too much. We had some staff confused as to what had been ordered by who and they were waiting over your shoulder to remove your plate the moment you had finished. We were in for a late-ish sitting and the place was relatively empty so there should have been no rush. Still an amazing place and we will be going back again for sure.
Food tasted better than amazing, the service was beyond hospitable and friendly, and the bill was very affordable. One of my favourite Italian restaurants in London so far. L'anima catered to my individual preferences and pretty much threw the menu away and gave me and my friends something completely different to suit our needs. The basil bread was delicious coming from a guy who doesn't get too excited about bread, the pasta was full of authentic flavour, the dessert was to die for, and to top it off, the waiter added a nice little surprise at the end. Very glad we bailed on current lunch plans to go here. I'm now a regular for life at this 3 month old cafe/deli/restaurant.
Just fair ! really don't know why peoples giving 5 start ! so just don't trust comment all the time very noisy here
You can be provided with comfortable and memorable experience there. I think that a four course menu costs around £70 per person. I like the fact that the both lunch and drinks are included in the offer. As you can see the prices are not so low, but the food is delicious. Don't forget to try the Octopus a la plancha with ricotta and paprika oil and the Wild sea bass.
The main thing about this place is just how very loud it is. Every surface is made of glass or marble, and serves to amplify the sound. That makes it look nice, but sound horrible. The food is good – though obviously reasonably expensive – and there's a good selection. The chocolate ice cream truffle dessert thing is *amazing*. But be careful going on a busy day if you actually want to hear anyone!
I have nothing but love for this place. Pricey - yes. But they are giving you great contemporary Italian food with New York atmosphere and london style. All of the dishes we had were flavourfully delicious. Reserve for a special occasion when you want some buzz.
Last minute decision to have dinner here & they were showing the football on large projector screens so really great atmosphere and service. We really felt like pizza which we ordered with the prosciutto on the side with me being veggie. My companion being Italian was not impressed with the prosciutto at all and pretty much left most of it untouched. Maybe it would've tasted better after being cooked on the pizza...? Although we ate all of the pizza which we shared, the dough was a tad dry. We also shared a mushroom fettuccine which I thought was really tasty but the Italian thought the pasta was "shop bought". Both of us agree however that the desserts were really good! The mint pannacotta with raspberries had that sexy wobble as did the chocolate & salted caramel budino. Who knew you can make watching the football classy! This place is it that's for sure!
Top food, simply exquisite! This has to be one of my favourites restaurants. The staff are very kind and attentive, the ambiance really lovely combined with some of the best italian dishes I have enjoyed over the last year or so. Super experience!
Had a lovely time at this restaurant. The decor is amazing and the service that I received was absolutely top notch. Food was delicious and the wine list was good. Was a little pricey but it certainly felt justified, especially with the service levels of the floor staff.
