Came over from Portsmouth with partner and kids, Pros - Arcade and bar area very inviting and modern, Laser quest although small was really good and kids loved it. Cons- From a Bowling aspect the lanes and balls are very poor, and lane we were on was actually uneven in places and took from the fun a little, service I felt was poor , one member of staff on who could actually serve, others could only say “il get someone for you” , told was no food at all until after 12:30 and one member of staff did not know how to take cash payment . Think if they spent some money on the bowling part of the complex then it would be a really good place to go play , but would not return until then , well not to bowl anyway
We visited from Portsmouth as a party of 7 family of 4 and a family of 3. We ordered food separately for each family. The first family ordered at approx 8:17pm and the second family were refused service at 8:21 as they stopped taking food orders at 8:20. We explained that we were all one party and had no prior warning of the cut-off time, yet they still refused to take the order
Was okay… so out of date and how we have to wear the shoes. We are on mainland and that doesn’t happen up here, the lanes were temper mental at best, having to ask 3 times for them to be fixed or reset. Boys enjoyed which is the main thing. Something to do when the weather is terrible or cold.
Brilliant service from Alex and Nicole, helped us loads, there was some minor inconveniences which they sorted out swiftly and professionally and i left on both occasions with a smile:
We enjoyed our visit, and the staff were helpful and friendly. We booked before going, which I recommend because it was quite full. Its great to see they've painted and made some improvements since we last visited the toilets which really needed it! Food and drink is rather expensive though.
Horrific experience this evening - lanes don’t work, scores didn’t match the pins knocked down and the.cash machine for the arcade was. Broken but they could t change notes at the tills. Some things are so bad they are good but this was so bad it was traumatic. A very expensive evening as I now need therapy. Avoid like an invitation to get into a stranger’s car.
