The mechanic went above and beyond for me, even lent me his charger as my phone was dead so I could answer the call to say the car was ready for collection. I had failed an MOT due to a drop link which I had "fixed" a couple of weeks ago. He was able to explain the parts and why it failed. Very accommodating to fit me in last minute for a repair and a very understanding nice man.
booked appointment as i had a screw in my rear passenger tyre pretty close to the inside side wall, i was told at service it couldn't be fixed. i showed up 20 minutes early for booking and the place was bunged, however i checked in early and tyre was replace and i was out and on the road before my actual booking time. top class service.
Emergency puncture, location was really important. Brilliant staff, fitted in fixing it between appointments. I have arthritis mobility problems and I was so glad that the guys went the extra mile to fit this in. Thank you
Went in to get a puncture fixed and got instant service from a very helpful and charming gentleman who sorted it out straight away. I drove away 15 mins after arriving with puncture fixed wheel back on and the dashboard light no longer showing soft tyre. Brilliant service
I was told I required 4 new tyres after my routine service. On receiving this information I was told the work would be carried out immediately. I refused the work being carried out as this was approx £400. On leaving Kwik fit I went to my local mechanic who told me my back tyres were ‘nearly new’ and my front tyres had another ‘3000-5000 miles at least’. I wasn’t sure and alarmed as the Kwik fit employee told me that I would be unable to complete an emergency stop effectively and my tyres could leave me uninsured in my car, therefore I went to a 3rd mechanic who told me the same as the 2nd. I was completely appalled as this was a lot of money especially with the current cost of living crisis. I would hate to think the mechanics were taken advantage because I was a young woman. Absolutely will not be back. Terrible customer service. Completely unacceptable
They have been fairly professional, but charging £108 to change a very cheap tyre on a cheap car is a scam; it usually costs between £45 and £65; I wouldn't mind spending a little bit more than £45, but £108 is definitely taking advantage of the circumstance.
If I could give no stars for this place I would, was visiting from Dublin and got a puncture, AA sent me to this place and we were treated in a disgusting way by these guys, you people need to get over yourselves up there, definitely don't go near them if you need help with a puncture if you're visiting from dublin,
My husband had a slow puncture. We just went in and they fixed it for him. Great service
They guys are always friendly and kind. Thorough job on the car. Very happy.
Reticent assistant to do the advertised free balancing check then told me my tyres were dangerous!!!! Not!@@ Got checked elsewhere. No return here ever.
