Absolutely gorgeous food, a very traditional Chinese. So chuffed to have you guys so local. Thank you for a fabulous meal, especially that I got my old favourites that aren’t usually on menus. Keep doing what you do

I always enjoy my food from here as I’m local & get a takeaway from time to time. I’ve always found the staff friendly & helpful too, I know it’s changed hands & there’s no exception. I’ve ordered tonight & the girl on the phone was great & my food was delicious as normal.
Rubbish. I live nearby and this place used to be good. Sometime in the last 6 months its gone downhill. Salt and Chilli chips have just got cheap tasting powder on them, watery curry, less egg in the fu-young, just basically cheaply made. Trying to cut costs at the expense of the customer.
Some of the vegetarian options weren’t available when we ordered so we ended up with quite an unexciting meal with most dishes being rather bland. Might give it another go as the staff were friendly.
The usual owners were away so the food wasn't as good as usual. The man at the counter asked my dad what was in the special sweet and sour we had ordered because he didn't have a clue. Got our order wrong, told us we would have to wait for 2 mins but ended up waiting for 15 mins. Food was dry and the portions were a lot smaller than average. Tasted like the chef had a stroke while cooking our food. It is usually amazing food but the people covering for the owners were rubbish at everything.
Owners away, current staff are extremely poor, sweet and sour was not Cantonese style as ordered and they asked ME what meat is in the special!? Beef chow mein was the dryest we have ever had and the prawn crackers we ordered came in a tiny bag. Very disappointed in the meal and won't be going back in a hurry.
Always had good food from Kwai Lam Only thing wrong it's cash only in this day and age sounds like a tax scam to me lol
Was absolutely terrible! Had chicken curry and the chicken was disgusting! Don’t even think it was chicken! My husband had beef and wasn’t impressed! Since the hungs left the place has gone downhill! Won’t be going again
Hungry Harry here singing the praises of Kwai Lam. Enjoyed many a lovely meal from this traditional take away. Always consistent good quality and tasty meals, freshly prepared in the clean family kitchen. Our first choice every time
