Called on Thursday last week to be told someone will give me a call Thursday or Friday. No one called so I phoned and asked and was told that court has been busy. Which is absolutely fine. We’re 1 week and 1 day ahead and no one has called not even to say they are busy. Definitely a good thing that I’ve been shown I wouldn’t be supported correctly through a vulnerable time. Lucky escape.
Wife passed away 13th jan. Handed in a load of forms only to find out they not been passed on to relevant authorities. 1 form was already filled out, just needed a signature from lawyer. Its now the end of march and form still not been sent. Called to ask why and told if not happy find another lawyer... Is that good practice?
I used KW Law for conveyancing; selling my home and purchasing a new property. For various reasons I ended up with a very tight deadline to conclude the missives and I cannot emphasise enough how well KW Law handled this process. Staff are friendly, kept me informed throughout and I appreciated their direct and upfront approach. On moving day, which is stressful enough, they were very helpful and processed everything quickly. I would definitely use KW Law again for conveyancing if I move again in future.
I had a settlement to agree with my employer and it was dealt with by Gillian Knox from the Livingston branch. She was very friendly, very professional and extremely efficient; she made a potentially stressful situation very simple. If I need legal assistance in the future, I will get in touch with her before considering anyone else. The offices are spacious and serve their purpose perfectly. Highly recommended and thank you, Gillian.

A very poorly organized company. Serious contact issues. They don't reply to messages. Waste of time. I do not recommend.
The most incompetent, money oriented company I have had the misfortune of dealing with. I instructed these so called solicitors to act on my behalf in a civil matter. Throughout my dealings and observations of them, I was continually surprised at how inempt and utterly useless they were. At one point, during court proceedings, the solictor never realised that the sheriff was talking to her due to being on her ipad! And that is only scratching the surface of it all. Don't make the same mistake as I did and regret it later. I paid the money to them and found out to late to turn back. I wish someone had warned me to stay clear beforehand.
Excellent law firm. Used them for family law before. They were great.
