A great place for a quick sweet treat. The hardest part is picking which donut to get. I also got a milkshake that was thick but the flavour didn't pack the flavour punch compared to their donuts. There is parking on site and the store was very quiet when we visited meaning the atmosphere was a little lacking as there wasn't much of a buzz but we have been before when the store is busy and it feels a lot electric. They also have a drive through if you're wanting a quick pit stop but I like to go into the store and see the donuts being made.
Today me, my son, and a couple of friends met for coffee and doughnuts at Krispy Creme in Birstal. This is something we do once a month or so. Today, when we arrived, my son said he needed to use the toilet. However, the toilet was in such a disgusting state that my 8 year old refused to use it. The viewing windows to watch the doughnuts being made were so dirty both inside the glass and outside it looked like it hadnt been cleaned in days. Staff making fresh doughnuts without wearing gloves and what topped it off was seeing the state of the floor at the back of the machines which looks accessible for cleaning, this turned my stomach. This was not a mess that looked to have been done today. This has been neglected for some time, if we had seen the extent of the mess prior to purchasing, none of us would have spent a penny! We have no intention of returning to this dirty store. UPDATE. After sending an email directly to krispy Kreme online along with the above pictures, they have sent me a voucher for 12 doughnuts......... this would be the last thing i will be using in this store, given they make the doughnuts for many retail stores i think i will keep well clear.
Went to this store tonight as part of mine and my boyfriends cinema date night and we wanted to share praise for the worker who was bringing sheer joy to his shift. Not only did he make sure everyone got at least offered a free hot donut when they started at 7pm, but also complimented kids in their Halloween costumes. Didn't get his name but he was tall and had a small goatee/beard. He really brought a smile to our evening, clearly enjoys his job and makes it fun for everyone around him. Keep shining dude, you're always a ray of sunshine when we visit!
Absolutely disgusting customer service. Drove nearly a hour to come here to redeem our box of four glazed donuts. First went through drive through and the lady said they have non. Which I was quite shocked about as I know this is where they actually make the donuts fresh. I went in store and created a box of 4 glazed donuts which were clearly on show. They have 2 trays out. As soon as I mentioned my rewards they lady spoke to someone and the headset and said this cannot be used due to only having 2 trays out. Find this so bizarre as they had plenty out plus they were making fresh batches on the side. Thanks to them, my rewards is not running out in a few days and I will not be able to redeem it. The service was absolute trash there.
We had to bob in after our film and had to have a look around. The inside is clean and well presented and has very good thememing with round tables and round windows to watch the donuts been made. We bought a box of 6 and it only cos 10.85 and was totally worth it the kids loved them and I got my favourite flavour. The staff were very friendly and quick to deal with our order and made our visit very enjoyable. Will definitely go again.

I came to KK yesterday with my niece and nephew as they saw the offer outside for £4 cold drink and donut offer. I came in and asked the women behind the counter about the offer and what we could get, i was told by one of the women 'any milkshake and any donut', i replied 'Any donut?' and she told me yes. They chose their donuts and milkshakes and i got the glazed donut and a fruit shoot and the total came to £17.50 that was clearly more expensive that i was expecting so i asked what i had been charged for. The second woman said the offer was £6.50 - i replied stating it says £4. i was told thats for Reward members only. I said i wasn't informed of that when i asked about the offer. Then I was met with an abrupt 'it says it on the sign' when i looked it was in similar colour to the background small in the corner. Not once was i asked if i was a reward member. I then asked if i can i sign up to take advantage of the offer but the second lady quite rudely said 'you can but you didnt get the glazed donut on the offer so it wont make a difference' i told her that she heard the first woman say it was any donut. i reluctantly paid for this as my niece and nephew had been looking forward to this. I feel i was upsold something without knowing, i was not advised it was a reward member offer, i asked about the offer as i clearly didnt know about it - i should have been given all the info on the offer. i checked the sign there was no t&c's. The attitude of the second woman was quite rude and short. this was the first time i had been in the shop and i wont be going again.
Lovely donuts as always, original glazed is best. Popped in on a Saturday afternoon, was going to sit down but the surfaces were a bit sticky, and the ‘amphitheater’ seating area was literally covered in donut droppings. Wasn’t that busy…. So my favourite phase comes to mind for the staff: “If you’ve got time to lean, you’ve got time to clean”.
Really not bad donuts at all, straight in and straight out of the drive-through. And I’m not joking, by the time we drove 5cm forward the lady had the donuts waiting for us! They’re a bit pricey though at £8 for 6 donuts.
My kids love coming here to see the hot donuts going through the bakery, they also love Krispy Kreme. For me personally I didn't enjoy my last doughnut here, I feel like their flavours changed?Food: 1/5
