Italian salad. Pepperoni pizza. Not too crowded on a Saturday evening. Service was 10/10 Adrian was perfect at talking to us and then leaving us to enjoy. All evening he was attentive but let us enjoy our date if you know what I mean. Saw some dogs outside they were all well behaved and laying under tables quietly. We don’t live here but if we did we would come back often and bring our pup. Really a good experience all in all. I love a pizza joint where you can get a good salad first and the salad here was impressive especially for a pizza place. This is weird lol but their water is really good too, no funny taste very clean taste. Great date spot!
This is a pet friendly establishment. If you value dining in a place where you don't have to worry of pet fur strand flying over your food, then reconsider your option. My husband and I had a date night months ago summer. A group was with their dog seated at a table near the back patio. Their pet had that "wet dog" smell. Of course, it scratched itself few times, and unfortunately, there was a large fan above them, so some fur strands floated around. It was too late to leave because we had our orders in before we noticed the situation, and we wanted to give their food a chance, but because of the smell and some floating fur strands, it ruined the dining experience for us. It's no fun being anxious about when it would land on your plate or the tiny particles floating around w/ the fans and AC on. I wish they made an obvious sign outside of the place being pet friendly. Surely, this isn't always the case but that experience is enough for us not to go back.
Just moved to the area and really wanted this place to be great. The wine was good and the server was nice but the atmosphere and decor was so sterile. Bright fluorescent lighting and cement tabletops. No warmth from candles or greenery. It felt like a warehouse. That works for beer gardens but not wine bars. I moved here from Miami where they have such warm and inviting wine bars with a very cool, dark ambiance. I recommend dimming the lights a lot, putting some tea lights on the tables and some small plants or flowers. Add a few little cozy seating areas with couches and chairs facing each other. I guarantee the volume will increase. We were there on a Saturday night and it was just us and two other people and that’s crazy for a wine bar! Good luck !
We had planned to go to Fish City Grill but their manager is a Karen. Out trained service dogs were not welcome there, in a lay, under the table, on the patio, with no other guests. Problem? Heck no... We went to Kork. We were welcome inside, dogs and all. Ordered a delightful vino, had excellent service. The pizza is nopalatano style but they were happy to make it crispy. The Ceasar salad was good. The staff took pictures with out dogs. 5 stars of 5. the picture is the Cuban Refugee pizza chef that came out to be with our pups
It was a very cute esthetic! I liked the vibe. However our waitress wasn’t very helpful and the food wasn’t that great. The ricotta was too foamy,… texture was weird. The salad wasn’t anything special. And my husband got the pizza which was soggy. Food selection was sort of limited. Limited vegetarian options and no vegan options. They had a super big wine selection. It wasn’t terrible but I know we won’t be going back again. I would recommend as a place to go to drink wine but not for the food. Glad we tried it though!
Another great experience at Kork! As usual, our servers were wonderful, knowledgeable and fast. Our main server, Eddie was the best! This guy knows wine and was right about all of his recommendations. The restaurant is spotless, the bathrooms are tidy and well maintained, plenty of space for wheelchairs and easy parking. The atmosphere is clean and modern without being sterile. As usual, the food was on point and the cannoli made us smile with each bite! Do yourself a favor and check out Kork!
First time here & it was a really nice experience. They have beer on draft for non-wine drinkers. It appeared to be full of ladies enjoying a night out.... Sprinkled with a few date-night folks. We got the charcuterie board. Our server was Eddie like Cousin Eddie, as he introduced himself and he was absolutely awesome! He explained the cheeses & meats to us. We needed extra bread, but only $1 more, we'll take it. Be prepared for a wait. If it's cold outside, make sure you've got your coat. The inside waiting area is small.
It was my first time there, and it was not planned to stop by and have wines on the day. I heard the live music from this place on my way to home and I couldn’t pass the moment. Good wines, nice staffs and nice music. But sadly they said they don’t have the live music any more…
Server not knowledgeable and was extremely rude. When we got our bill it was wrong. I gave her a 30% tip as I know how the service industry can be tough and she is barely 19. On our way to the bathroom she picked up our check and was apparently unsatisfied with her tip. She immediately at an attitude as we asked for some water on our way out. I will never go back to this place. There are a million other places I would of rather spent 100.00 dollars on.
Top shelf! Everything for every budget! Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Small bites and pizzas to compliment each wine that are freshly prepared and tasteful. Owner is accessible, sommelier on site. Wine lounge indeed!
