Lovely little bistro! Food was excellent with great wine, staff were friendly, atmosphere was modern and relaxing. It was a great stop off while we were passing through Chesterfield. Next time, I may go out of my way to come back!
Called for an impromptu Sunday morning breakfast. We should have booked as they were busy, but we sat outside. There were blankets available and there were heaters although they were off. Anyway, we had 2 full English breakfasts, 2 coffees and an orange juice. Everything was good, especially the flat white. Excellent food, but booking is recommended
Great food. Was freshly made & really enjoyed it. Staff were very attentive we had a wobbly table and they sorted it out straight away. Can't wait to go again Food: 5/5
Our first visit to Koo, along with friends for a birthday breakfast. Delightful, friendly, helpful service from the team, making our custom feel valued. The choice of food of by our group, totally lived up to the menu description, so there were no surprises. Well cooked, pleasantly presented and and hot as it should be. First visit maybe, but definitely not our last, Koo is a 'keeper'! Vegetarian options: Veggies are well catered for. Parking: This is a busy main road venue where parking can be at a premium and the dreaded double yellow lines. The saving grace is that there are a number of side streets where you will find space to park. Wheelchair accessibility: Slight slope on the entry decking to the restaurant but nothing of any real consequence.

Over the years I have used Koo on numerous occasions and thoroughly enjoyed it. I went on Friday 19 August with a friend and had one of the worst meals I have ever had! They seem to be doing more hot meals as well as sandwiches/chips etc. We had fish and chips instead of our usual sandwich with salad and chips it was awful the fish looked massive but it was mostly batter very thick and very crispy. Underneath the batter was a big cavity before the fish so there wasn’t a lot of fish and it was very dry. The chips were also very big and very dry. On a positive it is a lovely place to sit in and the staff are always lovely. I see that it has changed hands in the last year but unfortunately for me the food has changed for the worse!
We have been here two times ,on both occasions their was plenty of menu choice the food was really well cooked and tasty ,the service was second to none ,all in all a really nice experience ,plenty of on street parking near byFood: 5/5
Koo,is fantastic! My friend and I had the delicious lunch..It was superb!! Tremendous portions.Exceptional value!!!.The staff are extremely professional and most polite..The wash room, was a delight to visit and catered for everyone from babies to oap's!! Can not wait to return....Food: 5/5

Great coffee and delicious food in a lovely and stylish environment! The staff were really friendly too. Will definitely come back! Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and gluten-free options on the menu, and there's even some vegan options e.g. all day breakfast. Non-dairy milk is available too!
