First time visiting for lunch. All staff we encountered were friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced for the quality. It was relatively busy but had a relaxed atmosphere. Looking forward to visiting again.Food: 5/5
Lovely breakfast at Kondi this morning. I had the eggs royale with a side of mushrooms. Delicious fresh ingredients. Poached eggs cooked to perfection. Hollandaise sauce not too strong. Mushrooms beautifully seasoned with rosemary. Gluten free bread provided. The coffee is good & a lovely selection of herbal teas.
Fantastic 1st time experience at Kondi. Service was great & the food was even better. Presentation was amazing and the quality of the ingredients were even better. Would highly recommend
Made a search through google about restaurants in henleaze came up with good reviews/rating, nice atmosphere and menu Italian but it’s called “brasserie”... went for a table, restaurant was empty, only one table occupied. The only waiter saw us 3 times but I suddenly was invisible...Another 2 ladies came in and went to the counter to ask for food, my surprise seems there is no service at the table...no sign or mention but the waiter went to the occupied table to serve. Another employee came in to help with payment of the 2 ladies that came in after us, they took the order and knew we were there first. Had to left the restaurant. In between this 20minutes there were chats between employees and sips on cups. What a service...me and my mum were simply ignored. Nice one!

WHERE DO I START! I was served today by 2 women, one younger lady and one older lady say mid 50’s . The younger lady was very attentive and had a great customer service but however the older lady seemed to have a very bad attitude from the off set. I tried to place an order with the older lady and she completely ignored me and waited for the other lady to take my order. She took my order and I sat and waited for my breakfast. I ordered the scrambled egg on toast with a coffee. She then slammed my food and drink onto the table aggressively and I just kept wondering to myself, why is she treating me like this? I just finished my food I still had half a cup of coffee and a full glass of water I needed to use the restroom so I got up and walked past the counter where the 2 ladies were working. They clearly seen me head to use the toilet and not actually leave the cafe! When I returned to my table to finish my coffee, everything was completely gone and the table was clean. I sat back down and for a few minutes to process what just happened and I looked up at the older lady and she just glared back at me as if I’m not welcome there. She appeared to be polite to customers entering and leaving and really making a point to say “Hi and Bye” to everyone else. I looked around and it occurred to me that maybe it was the colour of my skin which made me stand out and I can only assume this is the reason for this hostility towards me. It’s disgusting behaviour from a woman of that age and she should know better!! Needless to say I wont ever be going back there, which I know that’s what she wants anyway.
Busy small cafe/restaurant with very good small meals. Good value.Food: 5/5
Standard coffee house / restaurant. Clean surroundings and helpful staff. Nice menu of interesting home made fare. Only issue is a toilet which is not disability friendly,very narrow and an internal step .
Not an experience I would wish to repeat, which is a shame because they’re close to where we live. The penne pasta was too al dente for me and the peas it was served with seemed to have been contrastingly overcooked. I got the feeling that it had all just come out of the microwave too… My wife and I were not warm enough in this restaurant either and then they opened the little window above the front door! Restaurant staff in general always seem to think that it’s warm when they are walking around and going in and out of a kitchen. How can it be warm in March?
