Hi guy's, So so disappointed with your food tonight. After reading the reviews for a while now, and after visiting Portmarnock over the past couple of months I decided to venture and try your food. Hoping to sit on a bench eat good quality food and listen to the waves as I have recently done. But OMG shocking, absolutely shocking. The pictures include my receipt and the terrible quality of the food..... Fresh "absolutely not". I should have ran when I heard one of the staff asking if the noodles were ready to go into the microwave not cooked fresh, just re-heated The fresh breast of chicken is such a lie, this chicken is processed, bought in and thrown into the fryer and served I asked for a small curry sauce and got this huge 5 euro over salted green curry sauce, as by the picture way more than a small portion I accept this review is being written after one in the morning, but I'm so annoyed, the pictures are of one hour ago and all produce are still in my fridge, How can you serve false fresh chicken like that ?? Reheated noodle's, and an oversized container of curry sauce which you don't provide the food to go with it.... I asked for a small curry sauce with my meal. It's a meal for one based on my order Obviously I'm never coming back but I'm so annoyed that some of the other reviews are contradictory, which leads to tell me, this take-a-way/restaurant is well below par. Great little place for a quick bite to eat by the sea or take away. Food was cooked fresh with the best ingredients and served piping hot. The place was very clean, staff where very friendly and helpful. Also very reasonably priced considering the quality of the food. Will be back again very soon.Food: 5/5
AWFUL. Money wasted for bad food. Should close this business. Honestly want to leave straight away and rinse off cause the food makes me feel sick. Went here after having a great walk at Portmarnock beach wanted to relax so went here trying to have great food experience but this place just ruined the day. I spent €21 for cup portion of soup and satay fried chicken with something bigger than palm size, nothing like Thai food or even any proper food like chefs don’t even know how to cook or taste them before serving, just toss in vegetables and frozen seafood and that’s it. Such dry chicken that made me tired for chewing, way too sour for the soup that I felt like drinking vinegar with floating mushrooms and undercooked shrimps. Just so terrible in general. Never coming here ever again.
Food was delicious as always. Thomas was so helpful from staff to finish looking after our party of 15 people. The service was 100%, delivered to the beach for a special occasion

Had a take away chicken Pad Thai probably the worst I have ever had. No flavour of what a Pad Thai should taste. The none flavour food was topped off with water running through the noodles.
I'm a fussy about restaurants, no review unless outstanding one, this one I like for the noodles and flexibility with special needs like fresh chilli on a side i'm getting ir free! or more tofu, etc.. stir fried vegetables are perfect! fresh quality not tasteless as in other restaurants around. otherwise, clean and nice place, must be seen by all Asian food lovers!!!
Thomas and Cathal were very helpful when it came to organising a catering event for a large number of people. Set up was quick and efficient. All cutlery was provided which helped greatly when catering for 100 plus people. Food was delicious, no complaints, would happily have Koba cater an event again in the future.
Food was simply amazing! Fresh ingredients, well cooked and super delicious ! Staff was super kind and friendly! I will be visiting you again soon!
