As a wedding photographer I get to work here on a regular basis and get to see not just front of house, but behind the scenes as well. This is one of the friendliest venues I've ever worked at, not just my opinion but every couple we speak to. Lots of work goes into continually improving the house and gardens and it shows. The grounds are gorgeous and offer plenty of photo opportunities. Weddings on the day are run efficiently but with real warmth and friendliness. The food is always good and the desert trolly is a real crowd pleaser. If you're planning a wedding and looking for a venue you really need to come here and have a chat.
We were not a client of Knowle Country House, but we were performing at a wedding there in May 2022. My band; The RockPins have performed at over 250 wedding venues and this was one of the best we've played at. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the food was lovely and piping hot. They gave us a drink as soon as we got there, something that is very rare in our experience. And the actual building and grounds are fantastic. And at the end of the night, a young lady offered us doughnuts, and then kindly wrapped them all in tinfoil for us to take home! Little things, but they all make such a difference. The resident DJ was a really nice guy as well, using a decent sound system, playing great music, and not too loud! Thank you Knowle Country House for helping make our job so enjoyable!

Great venue for a small wedding. Building architecture with great features. The garden was superbly manicured even in the high heat of summer.

Friends got married here. Lovely location. Beautiful scenery.lots of space for the kids to run around. Food was nice. Service was good
With a disability it was hard to get about, and the toilets impossible for a disabled person. Staff and food were excellent.
The venue is very nice , set around the old house. Food and drink was nice , The food came out quickly for the main wedding meal and the evening buffet was well presented. Drinks where good and plenty of choice. The only thing that let the day down was some of the staff where a bit short with guests. The wedding service was put on hold for over an hour because the grooms parents got lost from the hotel to the venue. Because there taxi that was booked never showed up. The parents where 85 and 81. We where told to have a drink while we waited , The bar was open again. When we went back to the bar and asked for drinks . The bar person was very short with us all , saying in a load voice the bar was closed . Someone explained what was going on and the manager had informed us it was open. At which point the person got cross with the group in front of them and told them to leave the bar as it would not open until after the service. That person then stormed off. Only to return with the manager within in 2 minutes to open the bar. From that point onwards for the rest of the day that person was not at all friendly to the guests. Just done the job with a cross looking face for the rest of the day.
I'm a wedding videographer and have been filming weddings for well over 30 years and can't believe I've never filmed a wedding at this fantastic venue. On Saturday I had the pleasure of filming a wedding at The Knowle, The staff are very friendly and helpful and can't do enough for you. It's the perfect place for a wedding. Even though I was working there and not a guest I was still told if there's anything you want just let me know. I can't wait to go back to film another lovely wedding, I hope it's soon.
