There were 11 of us, a family group. This place was absolutely ideal! With a great pub opposite. The pool and games room were a great success. Couldn't get the kids out. The 3 large double bedrooms were better than expected and the 2 bunk bed rooms were perfect for the children. The staff very accommodating and helpful.
Great choice for a large family get together - 4 seniors 7 adults 8 children in 5 cottages in our case. Excellent accommodation and swimming pool. The pub being next door is an added bonus!
Our family of 15 and two dogs, stayed in three of the cottages over Christmas and had a very special time. We can thoroughly recommend the properties, the leisure facilities and the very friendly service we received from the time of our enquiry onwards.
Lovely set of well-equipped cottages in Derbyshire in a very pleasant environment for families or very large parties as you can privatise all the cottages for a wedding for example – as we did. Great surroundings. Nice swimming-pool with warm water. Good pub just across the road with beer garden. A very good place for a relaxing holiday in the countryside.
