I treat myself there regularly. It is the best in Pontefract In my opinion. Crisp batter on fish which is cooked while you wait. So hot and tasty with no soggy chips. Highly recommended.

I love that fish and chip restaurant and the people are fantastic in there and very friendly and there’s no fish and chips for miles that can even touch the taste of the food that they do I haven’t been in since before COVID but will be going in for my favourite tasting this week soon.

One of the best fish and chips I've had for a while.Crisp batter not greasy:

We placed an order through Just-Eat but there were mistakes, a quick phone call and everything was sorted and piping-hot replacements were at my front door within minutes. Can't fault their customer service and friendliness. Food was fantastic too.

Pooped in for a quick tea.. lovely food very fresh, white and flaky fish, crispy chips. All at a really good price. Highly recommend this place.

Small cafe in the rear of shop, no booking just turn up and see if a table is free.
