My partner and I called into Knags on Fri as it had been a while. I must say we loved everything about our visit. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The food was simply beautiful. We had starters and mains but had to skip dessert as we were stuffed. We will definitely be back soon
We called in for lunch. It was quiet but its a nice spot. We moved as there was a cold wind when the door opens. We'd Christmas fries and a tandoori Chicken wrap. They were both very nice, maybe a bit salty on the Christmas fries. Big portion that I couldn't finish.Food: 4/5
Myself, my family and friends frequent this beautiful restaurant. We always have a lovely meal here. We have made many memories enjoying family occasions in Knags. We also regularly use there Deli next door and have used the outside catering unit too. Must say they have all been excellent! Kid-friendliness: 100% child friendly Parking: We have always managed to get parked. Disabled parking also available. Wheelchair accessibility: I am a wheelchair user myself and while the restaurant is cramped the staff are more than willing to move things around for my comfort and accessibility. Dietary restrictions: We have three celiac members of family and the restaurant have always been able to provide a selection of suitable choices for them.
Just finished my food, and oh my it was soo amazing, my reservation was at 5 and with 4 of us we had our starters and mains all finished by 5 to 6. The best seafood and roast about!! Exceptional service and friendly staff. Food was quick out and extremely enjoyable. not one negative thing to say !
Was treated to a lovely meal last Saturday. The food is always amazing at Knags but the service we received was outstanding!! Our waiter was Liam and all I can say is WOW!! Such a lovely, genuine man who is truly fantastic at his job. He made our dining experience unforgettable!! He is an absolute credit to Knags!!
We went on New Years Eve for late lunch early dinner. Even though the place was packed, the food and staff couldn't have been nicer. We have been to Knags several times for lunch, dinner, and breakfast. Honestly, we never had a meal or service we were unhappy with. Introduced several friends and family who all love it as well. 10/10 100% recommend!!
Great food with great service. Very attentive staff. Only downside for us was that our table was right beside the drafty fire escape. Place was quite busy with a lovely atmosphereFood: 5/5
Food excellent but just be careful if you decide to change your sauce choice on the steak sandwich they will charge you additionally for it. Also the soft drinks they don't stay fizzy they taste flat especially a large drink. Only other thing is wear warm clothing it was freezing in the place we couldn't take our coats off as it was that cold.
So deleted my old review as to right something the same we were there last night 5 of us. The staff were absolutely lovely, the food the lamb shank fell off the bone the food was just amazing and we had a laugh with the staff. Isn't that what it's all about? Every single one them had smile on there face couldn't help you enough. Thank you knags making it great night xx
Waited a long time and was given some looks by the staff. We ordered a dairy free meal and it was atrocious. If you are going to say yes we can make that dairy free it still needs to be palatable! After that we weren't asked if we wanted more drinks or anything. It was like we had done something wrong. Looks and atmosphere changed completely even though we hadn't actually complained. Been going for years and unfortunately this is it. Sub standard food and service. Dietary restrictions: Said could make the meal dairy free when in fact it wasn't even the same thing
