Drawing inspiration from fabrics, colours & textures to produce beautiful crafty creations.

Story

All products are created from recycled fabrics. This theme follows through to the packaging, using fair trade and recycled newspaper bags.

Bespoke items are made up for your purchase. This includes purses, bags, dotty pots and clothing. Kits are also available, along with workshops if you wish to have a go yourself!

Workshops are ran in a friendly environment at The Tannery, East Street South Molton, where you can just pop in on designated sessions to 'do your own thing', or tutorials for those wishing to brush up on their existing skills or learn to make something from scratch.

Lovely friendly service very helpful. Range of unusual tasteful textiles and and accessories. Quality fabric/oil cloth sold by the metre choice of patterns and colours. Make to measure curtains and blinds. Hints and tips for your own projects, classes available helpful and explanatory personal service.

What a gem! Lovely atmosphere - wood and weave, linens cottons and tweed, there's something comfortingly natural and homespun about the whole set up. Kath is helpful and knowledgeable and let me practise removing and replacing a specialist sewing machine foot on her own machine before I bought one for mine. There are tabletops of sewing notions - check out the purse and bag metalwork clasps and catches - and Kath runs courses you can go on to help you make your own versions of her lovely purses and bags. The walls of the store are decorated with pieces of work from her own cache and there's something of a museum upstairs - do take a look - some of the artefacts are for sale. While you're there, go next door and have a sniff round all the lovely 'real' foodstuffs in the adjoining shop. Glad I found Griffin's Yard - I'll be back

Very friendly lady . And her designs are fantastic . If you are looking for something unique this is the place to go.
