I have been a client of Kitson's , now Kitson Boyce, for many years. However, at the beginning of 2023 I engaged the Business Team, headed by Corri Pedrick and Jayme Nicholson to assist in the sale of my business. This soon grew into asking for their support and advice on a massive issue regarding a negligence issue and breach of contract. Both the business sale and conduct issues were intrinsically connected and very complicated. The whole team could not have done more. At every step and turn I was kept informed and advised and supported. Every member of the team, from the reception staff, the secretaries and the trainee solicitors showed empathy towards me. Nothing was too much trouble, I was kept informed either by telephone/email/ Teams and face to face meetings.  The sale of my business was successfully concluded  thanks to Corri’s and  Jayme's professional and highly skilled negotiations in obtaining the best possible outcome for me. I would have no hesitation in recommending this firm to anyone who needs support at the highest level.

We have used Kitsons, now Kitson Boyce for more than twenty years, initially for property and HR advice.  Over the past four years our company has faced very difficult and complicated situations and without Corrie, Jayme and their team, we could never have reached a successful conclusion.  We must compliment and thank them for their through and unstinting support during this unsettling time.

I would like to thank Corrie and her team for guiding us successfully through the sale of our business. We suffered many hurdles along the way, including buyers who were less than kosher. The stress for us throughout the entire process was immense at times resulting in our sometimes curt responses to Kitsons very polite and essential questions. In short,  it's incredibly stressful buying and selling businesses and what you  need is a professional team backing you.  This we had consistently with the Corporate team at Kitsons. Employment, Property, Business, and litigation matters were all dealt with, with professionalism but with a human caring touch, that helped us personally difuse when things got tough. I would throughly recommend Corrie and her team to manage any future sales and acquisitions.

Had a very bad experience with this firm. They took on something they were not experts in and charged us a hefty bill for their own personal training and for adding this to their repertoire. Had no clue on how to get moving and would send us the bill for all their research and training time. Eventually they waived off the last bit of payment only because we challenged it with facts. Wouldn’t recommend them for business purchases at all.

14, almost 15 months, into a flat sale and my family member has gotten nowhere. These are the seller solicitor, selling the flat directly from themselves. We suspect that they want us to drop out of the proceedings for whatever reason, but that is not going to happen. We have sent emails and letters referring to complaints and that the legal ombudsman will be intervening and not even an acknowledgement. I have contacted them on social media, again not even opened the messages. Trying to force us into paying for things, and offering £100 for us to basically take it off their hands and start paying bills even though we don't own it and refusing to move forward unless we accept. When asked to provide evidence of the legal requirements for this, they couldn't and eventually moved on although nothing has actually happened. They are incompetent and ignorant and I would avoid at all costs. To the solicitors: we demand an update, a response, some kind of acknowledgement of why you can't do your jobs and where we are in the process. If we do not have the keys soon, I will be taking this further than the ombudsman.

Refurbished four rented cheap basic flats to luxury holiday apartments with constant 5 star reviews. Sold to move onto bigger hospitality acquisitions. This process has taken over three years now and has been the slowest and uncoordinated conveyancing I have experienced!  After all this time  - it appears we still own the freehold and get constant messages and text from the new owners, who for whatever reason have not been best educated to their situation.  We have complained to our solicitors to no avail after paying them thousands of pounds. We will now reach out our complaint to The Law Ombudsman.  THIS IS THE LATEST MESSAGE SENT TO MY HUSBAND GEORGE  George on the 25th July last year you said the freehold and the management were in process of been transferred to the four flats Please let me know by return y it hasn't been done ??? I have had a terrible year with my 14 year old granddaughter been in hospital for a year with cancer and still not well I don't need the stress of this freehold taking so long Please chase it up Surely it's in your own interest to get it sorted and move on  Please reply Jen flat 1  And I can  say I personally have been left feeling very very ill from this whole experience
