Outstanding views of the Tamar valley and a lovely place to walk our doggo's
I've visited here my whole life. It's great at night when there's an event on. Usually I'm walking my dog here at the weekend. It's a great place for a walk. Always meet a few nice faces while walking about.

My self and a friend walked around Kit Hill a couple of days ago. We actually used I Walk Cornwall app. After walking around the top then down the incline, this walk takes you down some quiet lanes in Higher Downgate, through paths to Kelly Bray. In Kelly Bray we went a little off the route to miss out a boggy bit so went along Florence Hill and back onto Kit Hill from there. Even though there has been lots of rain recently, we didn't get wet feet. Amazing views from the top of Kit Hill.t
Incredible views worth a visit in any weather
Such a lovely place to visit, we throughly enjoyed our walk.. Beautiful views.. Anyone staying near the area I would definitely recommend a visit.
Great Hill with lots of parking around the place. Some of the information signs could be done with being cleaned as it would be nice to read some more about the history of the place.......€................................
What can I say about Kit hill, it is stunning. Walks are varied and as long and arduous as you want them to be. The views are absolutely beautiful, you can never tire of such picturesque surroundings. The dogs love it, and if it gets too hot, the quarry is a great place to cool them off. Wildlife a plenty, I have seen birds of prey, lizards, slow wormswhich are in fact legless lizards horses and sheep. The downside is it can be pretty busy, if your dog does not like socialising. It's open 7 days a week 24/7, with plenty of parking, 4 main car parks at different levels. I will see you there
Lovely place for a walk with great views and plenty of free parking.
Good information boards which makes the whole area interesting to explore. Parking is easy too.
