Outstanding place to walk with several walks throughout the forest. Paths are well looked after and each route is easy to follow. The posts are labelled with different coloured bands so finding your way round is easy. My only suggestion would be is to add a few benches on the way round so you can stop and take in the beauty of the forest. The Café is excellent with a good choice of food. We never tried the biking but from what we saw there was some excellent tracks to use. Car park is easy to find and charges are reasonable at time of posting
Lovely, tranquil place. Staff very helpful & friendly & kept it spotless. Food & coffee was spot on. I will definitely return if I'm in this area again.
Lovely coffee after a great walking trail. Beautifully clean with a log burner that wasn't on as the weather was too warm. Dog friendly. Plenty parking too. Stunning views to The Big Hill

Large café combined with visitor centre. Covered verandah. View of park and Cairnsmore of Fleet. Great staff. Serves soup, toasted sandwiches, pizza etc.
Great sausage rolls & coffee. The homemade cakes are excellent. This cafe could be more of an attraction in its own right if the car park wasn't so exorbitantly expensive. An hour free would be a great idea. Being nearly empty on a half term week means something isn't right..
Staff are always so lovely. The cafe have options for dietary requirements best carrot cake you’ll ever try! and is always immaculately clean.
A clean, warm modern cafe serving a large selection of meals and snacks. The lady serving was friendly and helpful. We had toasted paninis served with salad and crisps which were delicious, and excellent coffee. Just the place to call in at after a walk around the forest on a cold day.
Great if passing nip in and have a stroll not for the fainthearted in places can be steep, also allow mountain bikes in on the tracks. Also very peaceful and quiet beautiful day out.
Awesome facilities and staff. Brilliant MTB trials. Great place for the family. If you have a motorhome you can park overnight here. This is Epic. Thank you forestry Scotland for making such a great location possible.
