Nostalgic place for me, as I used to catch a train to go into Doncaster with my Dad sometimes when I was a kid.nnHowever, apart from that, it is nothing really impressive, as it is just a platform and a shelter. Plus trains do not always turn up on time. The Railways in this country need renationalising if you ask me.
Well, on the plus side, the station has step free access thanks to the ramped footbridge and you get a few seats, a shelter and a car park to the side. It also actually serves Kirk Sandall.nnBut other than that? It's as bland and as desolate as you would expect.
Nostalgic for me, awkward looking but straight forward, they have good shops nearby
There is nothing but a shelter and seating.
The station is a standard single island with an access ramp from a bridge.
