Kinning Park Complex

About

Kinning Park Complex is an independent community centre in south Glasgow.

Story

Kinning Park Complex is a three storey red-sandstone building containing twelve studio spaces, a shared meeting room and two large halls. The Complex has been managed and maintained since 1996 by the building users on behalf of the wider community and is a registered Community Interest Company.

We offer two large spaces for:
* community groups
* dance classes, martial arts and other physical activities
* theatre rehearsals
* public meetings
* music workshops
* and all kinds of other events.

The Complex can offer:
• Affordable rates. Our hall hire charges vary according to circumstance. Our general rule is that we want the halls to be used and we don’t want money to be a barrier to people using them, so email us or give us a call and we can discuss.
• Flexibility. Halls can be booked for one-off events, for regular classes or, when available, they can be block booked for a period of weeks (e.g. for theatre companies seeking rehearsal space).
• Free on-street parking with easy loading. 24/7 access when it is required.
• Good transport links: opposite Kinning Park underground station, close to major bus routes, close to cycle routes, easy access on/off the M8.

For bookings please email us at [email protected] and for more information visit us at http://www.kinningparkcomplex.org

A great place to congregate on Sundays at 3pm. Evangelical Christian Church. Preaching in Spanish with English Translation
Attended a networking event here the staff were on point but facilities very basic, it is some kind of old school building that is being utilised as a type of events centre/community centre
We hired the medium room for my husband's birthday. He wanted to watch films with friends and this was the only place we could find that could provide a suitable space and an AV system for an affordable price. It was just fantastic! Tables and chairs all provided, as well as a fantastic projector for watching films on. The member of staff there to help us was brilliant too. We absolutely will be back and will recommend to others!
Doesn’t even deserve the one star, I came for an event it said it would have stalls and games also it said it would start at 12 o,clock but they took an hour to start so it was 1 o,clock and they served food, the food was cold, never coming back
Perfect place Staff is very kind and helpful Place is very clean

bring people together to build strong relationships in and across communities improve the places and spaces that matter to communities help more people to reach their potential, by supporting them at the earliest possible stage. support people, communities and organisations facing more demands and challenges because of the cost-of-living crisis Our project welcome and involves your community
Very good place with caring people. I really love the place. I wish to back there again soon. Thank you so much.
Efficient structure for communities events
Up and coming community center with different events, groups and classes running nearly every day of the week by very friendly volunteers. Recommend you check out the pay-what-you-want meal on a Thursday where you can hang with some lovely folks and get a spectacular curry by donation only that you would happily pay a restaurant price for.
