We had booked No29 for a wake. The staff were excellent throughout, the selection of dishes for the buffet were good and catered vegetarian dishes for those that needed it. The soup went down well and was much appreciated. We were allowed to open an account behind the bar for guests. The manager and bar staff couldn't do enough to help us, so a big thank you for that.
We had booked here for refreshments after a funeral. It was arranged for a server to be available. However, we arrived 30-40 minutes early. The after waiting 10-15 minutes we approached the bar and asked for a member of staff to come through and take and order. Unfortunately the response was bluntly no. Our server hadn't arrived yet. The manageress would not do. At this time there was only 6 people in the main bar. Myself and my sister had to take the order and start carrying drinks into the dining area. I never expected to have serve drinks at my father's funeral. On the other hand the chef. Did an excellent job. More food was prepared than we expected soup sandwiches sausagerolls, pizza. Quiches. Cake biscuits. The venue was nice. But 1 member of staff has left me and my guest was a poor impression. Noteworthy details: Manageress was rude and abrupt. Chef was helpful and friendly
What a gem of a place Dog friendly rooms with no extra charge. We stayed In a double room and it was very comfortable. Spotlessly clean stayed in the golf hotel and the difference between cleanliness is chalk and cheese. Would definitely stay again. Stay in the Kinloch Arms and benefit from friendly staff, a spotless, comfy bed and superb breakfast.
Chicken balmoral for lunch in the bar / restaurant was very tasty and generously portioned. Attentive, helful staff in pleasant bar with good atmosphere.Service: 5/5

Just had a meal at the newly refurbished No.29 restaurant, and it was fantastic! Haggis and artisan bread as our starters, followed by ribeye steak and pork loin for mains. Pork was very good but the steak was one of the best I've ever had! We will definitely be back
Hubby and I came for lunch. Thought it would be a small meal to tide us over until we got home. The potions are huge and very bite was amazing. Couldn't eat for the rest of the day. I had the steak pie which was delicious and hubby had the fish which was gorgeous. High recommend the hotel was food. If they could only deliver to Cumbernauld we would be so happy.
We had a funeral here and Rob and staff were very helpful and friendly. Food & drinks: The food was lovely and plenty of it there was also a great selection of draught beers
Staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble for them. We stayed with 2 of our grandchildren 2 and 5 and their first experience of a Hotel was fantastic. They still ask can they have breakfast from the Scottish lady, when we ask what they want to eat. Clean room, excellent food and a very warm welcome. We'll definitely stay here again.
Came here a virgin and a boy left here with a body count of 600 and a man, 10/10 location couldn’t recommend higher. Saturday nights like a scene out of zombie land but eoi iyRooms: 5/5
