Kingswear has a lovely train station with cafe and a couple of nice pubs. We had a good Sunday lunch at The Ship Inn.
Lovely station building. Catch a stream train to Paignton Queens Park. Heritage railway line. Catch a ferry to Dartmouth.
It's such a shame that the train ends up in Paignton because it's a dump but the train itself is great and the scenery along the way views both sides very lovely.
Took a while at Kingswear but worth it.....
It's always a great adventure for young and elderly alike to take the steam train. It takes you from Kingswear to Paignton and back. Which are typical seaside cheesy resorts, but you can't see visit the are and miss the steam train!
