The older man that works there has a very bad attitude and very unhelpful will not be going back there and I wouldn't recommend that place at all
My brother in law bought a scooter at the end of August, kingston were very helpful in advising on the correct model. Sadly my brother in law passed away 4 weeks later. I called Kingston to ask if they would buy the scooter back only to be told that they would for £300 and use it for spares, it was bought for £1950,needless to say I declined.
Popped in to see if they'd buy back a mobility scooter my Dad had previously purchased from them. Helpfull staff member took my details for the boss to ring me. Will update if they actually ring. Update: They did call back and took it off my hands. :
Although the staff were polite the prices were ridiculous with second hand equipment going for more than you would pay for the same brand when new. With only a three month warranty against a two year one with a new model it was a no brainier to get new elsewhere. We ordered on line through a well known pharmacy and it arrived two days later.
Had a complete disaster today, wheel fell off wheelchair, rang Kingston, had wheelchair delivered to them and fixed within an hour, excellent service, so much appreciated and very reasonable. Thankyou so much
My son dropped the wife's mobility scooter off because she doesn't use it anymore agreed a price, when he got home it was 20 pounds short of price agreed when he went back was told he should have checked it before leaving the shop which i supposed is true but you think you can trust a shop dealing with disabled people beware
Carried out good job on fixing wing mirror on mobility scooter, staff great
Got charged 20£ for staying over the two hour stay time as the client wanted to stay with his friends we had dinner and coffee then to Starbucks for more coffee she went and had her hairstyle done he had a shave and hair cut then a nother cup of coffee could not see sings to say short stay only so got charged £20 not happy as I was at work with disabled people
Very good service. They serviced my husbands scooter in a day. Well done.
Sadly shut on a Saturday! Although on here advertised as open till 2.30pm... no it is not. Not everyone can get during a working week. Disappointing.
