Absolutely stunning theatre! Full of charm. Very comfortable seating and plenty of leg room. Will definitely visit again. A brilliant show with Showaddywaddy, no support act, just excellent music from start to finish.
We attended the Charlie and The Chocolate Factory performance and it was fabulous!nnWe didnt purchase any food or drink we took our own so cannot comment on lrices/quality.nnOur seats were in the circle and were great not a lot of leg room as with most older theatres.nnWe parked in the Waitrose car park nearby and it was only about a 5 min walk to the theatre. Staff were friendly and we loved the show!
The show its self was amazing but the theatre itself is quite cramped .. had to queue for the toilets and the bar is very small for the amount of people using it … but saying all that I really enjoyed the experience the theatre decor is really stunning and it gets a great verity of shows and Portsmouth would not be the same without it
Great venue, always a good variety of shows and performances with reasonable pricing. Good seating and great views of the theatre. Bars offer a range of snacks and drinks and the prices are decent. Right near a bus stop and there's some parking on nearby roads available just check for any restrictions! if not there's a public car park not too far away.
Visited tecently for a Bowie 'celebration' Act.nGood evening, not totally convinced by LeadnPerformer but music great and this really is a case of 'tough act to follow.n'Changes' was the best song to reflect his numerous Costume switches which was entertaining in itself.nExcellent musicianship, led by main Guitarist / producer of show.nGreat to pop back to see the Theatre itself. A little Gem. !
