My wife and I stayed there on Sunday night, 18-08-24. It is ideally placed in the centre of Retford. It's very clean and well presented. The lady that looks after the place, Donna, was very helpful and professional, thank you Donna.
Breakfast was very poor even the crumpets had mold on it! More mold in the room above the shower was full of mold. Would not advise anyone to stop here until it’s sorted. Such a shame could be first class with more effort put in by owners
We were in room 5 Shower door rubber hanging out of bottom of door.Lamp shade stained.Cabinet door to fridge hanging of hinges.Shower doors not coming together water leaks out onto floor.Loads of dust on window sill in bathroom.Hairs around shower tray.Need gluten free food for breakfast.
A beautiful building our room was lovely great service very friendly and welcoming nice continental breakfast also tea and coffee in room
Good location for the Annual Retford Charte day taking place at Kings park .. being situated between the park & the market Square - however management seem to have been caught napping by this well populated annual event/ cash cow by not being open on this sunny day meaning literally hundreds of parched wallets & purses & their children, wanting pop & crisps etc, walking straight past it's closed doors.nCan't speak to food, service or rooms . It was closed.
