Story

At Kings DIY, we pride ourselves on our ability to offer friendly, personal service to every customer - we're a family-run local business, not a big faceless conglomerate, so you're never just a number to us! We have a huge range of products in stock, and even if we don't stock the item you're looking for, we can often order something in to suit; many special orders are available to collect the next day. While-you-wait services include paint mixing, key cutting, and timber cutting. We have several ongoing multi-buy deals on best-selling products (including composts, light bulbs, and water-softener salts, among others), plus a range of new seasonal special offers five or six times a year.

Helpful and knowledge staff. Reasonable prices for a local shop

Helpful family run business. Been going there for years. Typical story couple days ago: expert staff descended upon us and advised on our plumbing problem. Let us take half a dozen things home and try them with refunds next day (Xmas eve) for tools and pipes which they repackaged if required - good as new.

A very good selection of diy items, yes dearer than b&q, but not by much and very convenient and they deliver if needed at a reasonable price

Not just an AMAZING local hardware shop that sells just about everything you might want (and more) with a timber yard out the back too, it's the best this reviewer has ever come across. A real Aladdin's cave and much larger than similar shops on the high street, it's worth going in simply to have a look around but if you do need to speak to a member of staff you'll get friendly and helpful advice. However, it's very difficult to come out of the shop without buying something you never realised you didn't have!! Worth more than 5 stars and allow at least half an hour to have a proper look round.
