Had an excellent overnight stay in our campervan. Evening meal was amazing and the breakfast definitely put us on for the rest of the day. We were made very welcome by Jackie and will definitely be returning.
What an amazing place and host. The food was exceptional , probably the best Ive had and I travel a lot ! I had , French onion soup , deffo the best Ive had , followed by whole seabream cooked perfect, with perfect veg. Wife Steak pie - "amazing " . The Fish n Chips that came out were massive , couldnt fault anything was everyones verdict.
Just heading home after a wonderful stay at The Kings head theddlethorpe. Jackie is the perfect host wonderful home cooked food and hospitality. Met lovely people and was lovely to relax and chat in front of cosy fire. Will definitely be back.Rooms: 5/5
Never disappoints!! What an incredible place we come back to visit every time we come to England. Amazing hospitality and incredible food- especially taken care of because we have gluten free needs. Stunning thatched roof - an amazing place to stay the rooms are beautiful. Only gave 5 stars because there’s not an option for 10!!
Very friendly staff, really welcoming, food lovely. We stayed for the night in campervan and slept soundly no noise. When were up this way again will definitely be stopping here again.
The pub is absolutely stunning from the outside, we travelled quite a way to come to the pub and was very disappointed when we got there. No beer on draught at all, only bottles and very expensive. We were hoping we could have some food as that’s what we came for and were told if we hadn’t booked then no food. There wasn’t anyone in at all. Inside the place looks run down and not well kept, what a shame it could be such a great pub with the right care and attention.
Surprise for my fiancé. We loved it. Very unique, cosy place. Lovely host from Jackie & Dave. Huge, tasty breakfast. We had everything what we need. 4/5 only because we think garden should be more covered. Highly recommended Perfect place to hide and be just 2 of us
We stayed over in our campervan and although we hadn’t booked in was welcomed with open arms , had a great meal and a few drinks , great chat with the down to earth owner in front of the roaring open fire , will certainly return.
We had a fab time! Jackie and Dave accommodated us and our 2 children and went above and beyond. We stayed in the cottage and it has its own little private garden which was lovely and all the grounds are well maintained. The food was great! Beds were comfy A short distant from the beach & Great company! We can’t wait to come again X
Stopped in our motorhome for a night and the owners were great. They couldn’t do enough for us and even cooked me a special gluten-free fish and chips. What a treat. Yes the beer is in bottles but does it make any difference? Not really. If it keeps another beautiful country pub open and viable, well done
