Delicious food! Friendly staff and nice decor. We tried the specials of the day: Crab mac & cheese and the Duo Mackerel. The food has succeeded beyond all expectations! And last but not least, this place is pet friendly :
This is a great little pub. It was our fist visit and we just popped in for a quick light lunch and a pint. We were made welcome with all the Covid restrictions being observed without making us feel unwelcome. The food and beer were delicious and we look forward to our next visit.
Outstanding place. My battered fish and chips were splendid. Nice wish I could rate it more than 5. If you stay in the Isle of Wight come here. I thoroughly recommend this place
Food was pleasant, and the staff were very friendly, but everything was quite expensive. The interior was nice and clean, though the Covid Secure one way system took us quite close to other diners. All in all though a very nice place to eat.
Loverly food and really nice staff. The price is is really good and really justified if there was one comment I could make is the burger buns could be a little better as it falls a little bit into pieces when you try to pick it up other then that the meal was perfect :
Nice pub, friendly staff. Crab Salad is impressive. Steak and Ale pie was nice if unexcitingly presented.
Oh dear the food was average at best a dissappointment im afraid. If you have items on the menu which state they are suitable for veggies vegans & gluten free please dont then tell us they are not & then give us a chicken breast on a lettuce leaf & a tomato with a little salad & charge full price not impressed
Good food good beer slow service as only 3 people serving.
Childs lasagne was dry and portion size was terrible so small salad was bigger than the lasagne .Adults Sausage mash ,no way were they island sausages more like Richmond sausages and over priced..mac and crab was lush.but not as good as mine !!!
