That was the first and last time i eat from here absolutely rubbish food, Singapore chow mein was dry and powdery, the prawns were rubbery and I don't know what the meat was I couldn't figure that one out. The chips curry sauce and fried rice was served in a polystyrene tray that the food melted to, I asked for extra curry sauce and as you can see from the picture they were too tight to add another scoop hence the bad review. Don't bother with this place it's terrible.
I’ve been looking for a good takeaway selling Chinese food for a few months now across Harborne, Quinton and Bearwood. I found Kings on Just Eat this evening, looked at the reviews on Just Eat, checked the food hygiene rating and ordered. Then I checked the reviews on Google and my heart sank. I’d almost decided not to eat it before it was delivered. But it turned out to be probably the best takeaway I’ve had over the past 12 months. I gave it a quick zap in the microwave when it arrived and I wasn’t expecting prawns in a duck spring roll - it might have been an issue for someone with an allergy - but I really enjoyed it!
Absolutely loved the service,was served by a dignified man called Alvin Wang who gave me top notch service.The food was piping hot unlike Hong Kong delights and when I tasted it…I knew… I knew it was the one
Well, I usually order from a better and more expensive restaurant when I want Chinese. As I wanted only duck, to cut down on carbs, I thought I'd chance a new takeaway. I mean, how can you get duck wrong? I've roasted it myself and it tastes the same. Well, I ordered 1/2 duck and can confidently state it was a waste of £20. It just didn't taste right and was mainly bones and skin in the box, not even shredded properly. I will never order from here again, if they got the "duck" wrong I sure hope it was actually duck, then I have little hope for any other dish.
Made to order fresh. Only place locally I can find Singapore Rice Vermicelli. Fast service but looks a bit scruffy. Delivery service Cash only.Food: 5/5
Absolutely awful, tasteless...ordered a curry sauce and a sweet & sour sauce...both were just coloured water. Ordered a chicken fried rice...5 bits of chicken and the rice was hard! Husband had a Singapore Chowmein...bland, very greasy. Portions small. It might be local to us but never again!
My food was delivered over 2 hours after I ordered. I called multiple times and was told at each point it was “15minutes away” which it clearly was not. The blame was put on the delivery driver as the restaurant said “he is new and does not know his way” I live very close? when the food FINALLY arrived it was very hot and freshly made, suggesting they lied about the delay and placed blame on the wrong person. The restaurant staff said that due to my wait time I’d be refunded the £30 I paid for the food, but this did not happen. The food itself was “okay” nothing to write home about. I was paying for convenience after a long day at work, I wish I had of cooked!
Handsome young Chinese boys scurry to me like rats, today I crashed my plane into a tower I was looking for sum cupcakes when I got hungry so I went to this fine establishment and was met with incredible service and atmosphere when a young Chinese boy served me I was extremely grateful my gratitude busssstttddd around the room I was so thankful for the wonderful meat I was served will cum again
Sent us the wrong food, then preceded to tell us we must have made a mistake insisting we pay again to get our actual order. Awful service.Food: 1/5
Ordered Chinese from here, unfortunately was undercooked and didn’t taste very nice , probably the worst Chinese I’ve had , won’t recommend or reorder from here againFood: 1/5
